PICTURE # 22 BUILDING 10 and Present day

Today's view is radically different. This photo is taken from the corner of VINE and FOSTER, looking WEST. The still existing building from the photo above (now 616 and 618 FOSTER St) is far back in this photo and is framed between the two trees on the right. It is NOT the large home to the left--that home faces on VINE St.

Note that this building is on the NORTH side of FOSTER. If you walk WEST in front of that building you will discover a large empty lot about a half block away. That is the site of the larger dormitory building near the center of the old photo. It was torn down only recently.
