![]() ![]() PICTURE # 22 BUILDING 10 and Present day Another view of the old ACADEMY which shows in the background (to the right), two of the very large buildings that were part of the Academy. The building to the far right in the picture is still standing (see today's picture) and it was probably student housing or offices. The other building, about in the center of the picture, was a dormitory for the students. Notice how sparse this part of town was at that time. Probably about the turn of the century. Also note the huge caps on the people which was evidently customary at that time. It gives the appearance of a Russian landscape.
