Teller at Commercial Bank for 35 years

Funeral services for Celia Clara Cadwallader, 96, of 725 Columbus Ave., Fostoria, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Branson J. Hawkes officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cadwallader died at 1:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 1998 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria.

She was born Jan. 20, 1902 in Wayne to Charles and Mattie (Adams) Dicken. She married Ira Lester Cadwallader on March 10, 1948 in Fostoria, and he died March 4, 1954.

Surviving are two grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a stepson, Ira Cadwallader; two brothers, Adam and Carl Dicken; and three sisters, Florence Adams, Blanche LeComte and Rowena Amos.

Mrs. Cadwallader was a bank teller for 35 years at Commercial Bank in Fostoria and Bascom.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria, Fostoria's Women's Club and King's Daughters (West Minister), Fostoria. She graduated from Prairie Depot High School, Wayne. She was a Red Cross volunteer for 50 years.

Memorials may be made to Fostoria's Women's Club, the Red Cross or Wesley United Methodist Church.

Uldene D. (Stephenson) Carbin
Electric Autolite employee

Uldene D. (Stephenson) Carbin, 83, of 1000 Independence Rd. 17, Fostoria, died at 6:28 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at the Fostoria Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1915, to Charles Stephenson and Della (Coppus) Stephenson-Flaherty, both of whom are deceased. On Oct. 22, 1938, she married Paul J. Carbin in Ft. Wayne, IN, and he survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Michael A. Carbin of Pickerington and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Martin Flaherty.

Mrs. Carbin was a 1933 graduate of Fostoria High School. She retired as secretary for Electric Autolite now Allied Signal. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, the Forum Club, and a 25-year volunteer of the Hospital Guild.

The Rev. Branson J. Hawkes will officiate the 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, service at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A memorial service for Gail I. Hill-Carver, 93, formerly of Cape Coral, Fla., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Church of the Brethren, Fostoria, the Rev. Paul Meyers officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Heights Memory Park, Marion.

There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Carver died at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 1998 in Tiffin.

She was born Oct. 17, 1904 in Nevada, Ohio to John and Edith (Newman) DeJean.

Surviving are a daughter, Penny Martinez, Tiffin; a son, Eugene L. Hill, Toledo; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Roberta) Gordon, Mary Roberts, both of Tiffin; five grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, John W. Hill, Fred Carver; a brother, Glenn DeJean; and a sister, Ila Fruth.

Mrs. Carver was a homemaker.

Frederick A. Cassell, Sr.
Fostoria Resident

Frederick A. Cassell Sr., 72, of Fostoria, died at 3:51 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.

He was born April 10, 1926 in Watertown, N.Y., to Isaac R. and Marjorie J. (Stopforth) Cassell. He married Janet S. Walters on Aug. 3, 1963 in Angola, Ind., and she survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Frederick A. Jr. of Findlay; Isaac R. of Bowling Green; Charles H. Artressia, Dunkirk; Terry F. of Liverpool, N.Y.; six daughters, Candy Artressia, Dallas; Rona Herbert, Toledo; Judy Dukes, Brownville, N.Y.; Karen

Cassell Stevenson, Vine Grove, Ky. Dorothy Nasworthy, Watertown, N.Y.; Tina Jones, Watertown, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hilda Farr, Brownville, N.Y.; Wava Curtis, Fort Edwards, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Landon.

Mr. Cassell drove a truck for more than 20 years for Yellow Freight. He attended the Church of Christ in North Baltimore. He also was a member of the VFW in Ottawa and the North Baltimore American Legion.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside services for Lloyd F. Cessna, 64, of 5885 W. Ohio 635, Kansas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kansas Cemetery, the Rev. Ivan Schwenn officiating.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.

Mr. Cessna died at 10:07 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 1998 at Memorial Hospital, Fremont.

He was born Oct. 2, 1933 in Seneca County to Clayton and Troas (Boyd) Cessna. He married Jerry A. Knepper in December 1953 in Angola, Ind., and she survives in Kansas, Ohio.

Also surviving are a son, Dennis in Hawaii; two daughters, Cheryl Cessna, Fremont; Mrs. Cary (Debra) Huffman, Fostoria; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Don and Fred, both of Kansas; Carl of Tiffin; and a sister, Jane Rossler, Fort Myers Beach, Fla.

Mr. Cessna retired in 1989 as a millwright at Basic Inc., Maple Grove, after 38 years.

He was a member of Kansas United Methodist Church. He had been a member of the Kansas Volunteer Fire Department since 1951. He was a Civil Defense member for Fremont-Sandusky County. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Fostoria.

He graduated in 1951 from the former Jackson-Liberty High School.

Graveside funeral services for Fostoria native Jon A. Chalfin, 29, of Indianapolis, Ind., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Preston Cemetery, Alger, the Rev. Calvin Waugh officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Chalfin died at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind., at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998, of injuries he sustained in an auto accident.

He was born June 1, 1969 in Fostoria to John R. and Peggy (Bovee) Chalfin. His father and stepmother, Ellen, survive in Fort Wayne, Ind., and his mother survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are a brother, Lonny of Tiffin; and a stepbrother, Drew Richardson, Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Homer L. Chalfin.

Mr. Chalfin was employed by Trax Records and Sanders Construction in Indianapolis.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.

Nina C. Chamberlain

Nina C. Chamberlain, 88, formerly of McCutchenville Rd., Fostoria, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at the Wood County Nursing Home, Bowling Green. She was born Dec. 12, 1909, in Liberty Twp., Wood County, to Addison E. and Rosa E. (Smith) Creps. On June 23, 1930, she married Edward L. Chamberlain Sr. in Florence, KY., and he survives.

Other survivors include: a daughter, Berry R. Smith of Wayne; two sisters, Wilma Boine of CA, and Beulah Goodale of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were: a son, Edward L. Chamberlain, Jr.; two brothers, Dale and Walter Creps; and one grandson.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a 1927 graduate of Cygnet High School. She was a member of the Trinity United Bretheren Church in Fostoria and a homemaker.

The Rev. Keith Davis will officiate the 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, service at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be at Rudolph Cemetery in Rudolph, OH.

Visitation hours are one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Bretheren Church, Fostoria.

Mary Bernadine Clay
Seamstress

Graveside services for Mary Bernadine Clay, 83, of Fostoria, will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.

There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated.

Mrs. Clay died at 10:17 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 1998 at the Toledo Hospital.

She was born May 3, 1915, in Lakeview to George Lee and Clara Rose Bailey. She married Leonard E. Clay on May 28, 1935, and he died Sept. 21, 1980.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Sherrill) Hiser, Fostoria; a son, David Lee of Sylvania; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Franklin Bailey, Lima; Merle Bailey, Jackson Center.

Mrs. Clay was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lee Clay, and two brothers, Gerald Bailey and Doyle Bailey.

Mrs. Clay was a lifelong seamstress. For many years, she owned and operated Bernie's Sewing Service, Fostoria.

She was a member of Worldwide Church of God, Findlay.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Donald J. Coburn

Donald J. Coburn, 64, of North Main Street, Fostoria, died in the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo, at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1998.

He was born Jan. 11, 1934, in Fostoria, the son of Harold C. and Laura B. (Thompson) Coburn. His mother survives in Fostoria. His wife, Patty A. (Veach) Coburn, whom he married April 29, 1956, in Clovis, N.M., also survives in Fostoria.

Other survivors include: two sons, John C. and Bruce J. Coburn, both ofFostoria; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Cynthia) Rogers of Priest River, Idaho and Mrs. Wyatt (Jenny) Keckler of Bradner; a brother, Coby Coburn of Fostoria; a sister, Judith Hook of Bowling Green; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his father; a son, Bryan W. Coburn; and a brother, Jack Coburn.

Mr. Coburn, a 1952 graduate of Fostoria High School, retired from Ameritech in December 1994, after 30 years of employment.

He also had served in active duty with the U.S. Air Force for 10 years.

Services in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, will be 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Donald R. Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

Margaret Elizabeth Compton, 87, formerly of 400 N. Main St., Fostoria, died at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria, where she resided.

She was born in Mill City, Ore., March 17, 1911, to Harvey Monroe and Lazetta May (Deeds) Sutton. Her husband, Alfred Wesley Compton, whom she married Nov. 11, 1933, in Findlay, died Sept. 14, 1985.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anita K. Fulton of Tiffin; two granddaughters, Patricia Marie Compton of Columbus and Pamela Gail Dunn of Fostoria; and four great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Earl E. and Russell Sutton; and two sisters, Vera Mae Arrington and Ethel Sutton.

A homemaker, Mrs. Compton was a member of the First Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 94, both of Fostoria.

Services in Memory Gardens Chapel, near Arcadia, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Bertie Dell officiating. Interment

will follow in Memory Gardens.

There will be no visitation. The Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, is in charge of arrangements.

John J. ''Whistler'' Cook
National Machinery machinist

John J. ''Whistler'' Cook, 55, 1473 W. Continental St., died at 1 a.m. Monday, June 1, 1998, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Fostoria, Jan. 4, 1943, to the late Clow H. and Mary V. (Keller) Cook. On July 21, 1962, he married Phyllis Myers, and they were divorced. His companion, Nancy Englehart, survives at the residence.

Other survivors include: a son, Thomas E. Cook of rural Sycamore; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Franklin (Geneva) Smith of Sycamore; and two brothers, Norman O. Cook Sr. of rural Tiffin and Paul T. Cook of Sycamore.

Preceding him in death were five brothers, Dick, Bob, Bill and Merle Cook and Jim Wolfe.

A member of the Protestant Faith, Mr. Cook was employed as a machinist at the National Machinery.

An avid CB'er and fisherman, he was a member of Tiffin Moose Lodge 846 and the National Machinery Quarter Century Club.

Services in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Marvin E. Cooper, Sr.
Fostoria resident

Marvin E. Cooper Sr., 65, 935 Buckley St., Fostoria, died at 10:13 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, at the Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1932, to George R. and Ada I. (Fell) Cooper, both deceased. On June 2, 1953, he married Virginia M. Naro, and she survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Marvin E. Cooper Jr., and Harold A. Cooper, both of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Linda L.) Swartz of Fostoria; a brother, Eldon L. Cooper of Springfield, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth R. and Ronald Cooper, and a sister, Betty Searles.

Mr. Cooper was a 1950 graduate of Fostoria High School and a member of the Dillon Road Baptist Church of Fostoria. He retired in 1988 after 10 years as a shipping and receiving clerk for Standard Fuse, formerly of Fostoria. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954.

The Rev. Allen W. Minton will officiate the 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, services at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Arcadia.

Visitation hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, at the funeral home.

Gertrude I. "Jo" Covrett, 84, of Elm Street, Fostoria, died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998 at St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.

She was born May 24, 1914 in Stockholm, Sweden to Anders and Hildur (Kessmeier) Joabson.

Surviving are a daughter, Chris A. Ramsey-Platt, Fostoria; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Elsa Frehse.

Mrs. Covrett retired in 1976 from First National Bank, Findlay. She was previously employed in the advertising department of the Republican-Courier newspaper. She also owned and operated the Hi-Jinx Restaurant, Fostoria.

She was a 1933 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and attended Tiffin Business University for two years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Her cremains will be returned to Stockholm.

Funeral services for Ruth E. Cox, 80, of South Wood Street, Fostoria, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. David Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cox died Tuesday, June 16, 1998 at the Columbia North Bay Hospital, Arkansas Pass, Texas.

She was born Dec. 19, 1917 in Findlay to Earl and Clara A. (Lather) Briggs. She married Gerald M. Cox on June 1, 1950, and he died May 23, 1990.

Surviving are a son, Richard of Akron; and two grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Robert Briggs.

Mrs. Cox retired from the law offices of Fred R. Echelbarger, Fostoria, after being a legal secretary for about 20 years.

She was a member of the Fostoria Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Fostoria High School. She had spent winters in Texas since 1980.

Maud E. Damon, 97, of 20819 Ohio 12, Fostoria, died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, June, 24, 1998 at St. Catherine's Care Center, Findlay.

She was born Dec. 6, 1900 in Bloomdale to George and Ellen (Smith) Manns. She married Earl E. Damon on March 27, 1920 in Findlay, and he died July 21, 1991.

Surviving are three sons, Earl E. of Fostoria; Vernet E. and Richard E., both of Findlay; two daughters, Eleanor R. Dick, Findlay; and Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Painter, Pandora; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Damon also was preceded in death by a son, Robert K.; two daughters, Barbara E. and Linda S. Damon; two sisters, Hilda Manns Moore and Ethel Baker; a great-grandson and a step-great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Damon was a homemaker.

She was a graduate of Arcadia High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Arcadia; the DAV Ladies Auxiliary, Findlay; and a life member of the Fostoria Women's Garden Club.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Findlay Chapel, the Rev. David Bliss officiating. Burial will be in Arcadia Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Robert DeCamp
Self-employed farmer

Robert DeCamp, 87, of 725 Columbus Ave., Fostoria, died in Fostoria Community Hospital at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 1998.

He was born in Wilmington, Ohio, Dec. 25, 1910, to Espey F. and Addie (Storer) DeCamp. His wife, Mary E. (Marks) DeCamp, died Oct. 30, 1997.

Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Leonard and William DeCamp; a sister, Pearl Rathburn; and a half-sister, Ethel George.

A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Mr. DeCamp was a self-employed farmer and had attended the Fostoria Baptist Church.

Services in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria Chapel, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. David P. Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

A memorial gathering for Deanna J. Delph, 58, of 725 Columbus Ave., Fostoria, will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Paula Miller, 3857 Mink St., Mount Vernon.

There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Delph died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 1998 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria.

She was born Oct. 9, 1939 in Deep Valley, W.Va. to Kermit and Blanche (Duty) Gatrell. Her mother survives in Fostoria. She married Robert R. Delph on Nov. 22, 1960, and he preceded her in death.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Paula) Miller, Mount Vernon; Adrienne Delph, Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Wayne Gatrell, Bloomdale; Bret Gatrell, Fostoria; and nine sisters, Mrs. Richard (Sonya) Zirger, Barbara Davis, Mrs. Michael (Connie) Gundlach, Robyn Gatrell, Mrs. William (Janice) Wilson, all of Fostoria; Mrs. Ralph (Brenda) Babb, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Thomas (Melvina) Clink, Arlington; Mrs. Steven (Kathy) Balser, Scotia, N.Y.; Mrs. Frank (Patricia) Green, Ocala, Fla.

Mrs. Delph taught students with reading disabilities at Fostoria Middle School. She held a master's degree in education.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Bowling Green.

Alyce M. Dicken, 84, of 296 Ainsworth Ave., Gahanna, Ohio, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, in the Whetstone Care Center, Gahanna.

Born Aug. 13, 1914, in Fostoria, to Abraham and Minnie (Rowe) Herbert, she married Adam H. Dicken, Sept. 2, 1933. He died April 8, 1992.

Surviving are: a son, Stanley C. Dicken of Lafayette, La.; two daughters, Joan A. Anderson of Gahanna and Mrs. Eric (Marilyn) Stech of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Zuern of Louisville, Ky. and Mrs. Arnold (Joyce) Farwig of Fostoria; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were a brother, Andrew Herbert; and a sister, Lucille Lawless.

Mrs. Dicken, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Louisville, Ky., was self-employed as a caterer, owning Alyce Catering Service in Bonnville, Mo., for 13 years, retiring in 1973.

She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star 419, Boonville where she served as past worthy matron.

Private services in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria Chapel, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Branson J. Hawkes officiating. Interment will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation also will be private.

Heather Doe, 38, of 125 Taft Blvd., Fostoria, died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 1998, at 626 Broadway, Fostoria.

She was born Sept. 12, 1959, in Fostoria, to Lloyd R. and Joyce E. (Wolfelt) Doe. They survive in Fostoria. She had been married to Kenneth Duran and they were divorced.

Other survivors include: a son, Ian M. Duran of Findlay; three daughters, Kendra J. Fruth, Brittney R. Duran and Baili L. Bostwick, all of Fostoria; two brothers, Todd E. Doe of Fostoria and Tadley S.J. Doe of Bettsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mark (Londa) Bautaw of Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Brad (Shavonne ''Jane'') Davis of Fostoria; and two grandchildren.

Ms. Doe, a homemaker, also had been employed as an assembler at Lamson and Sessions in Bowling Green. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening and helping others.

Services in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria Chapel, will be 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Georgene J. Slagle officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, near Arcadia.

Visitation at the funeral home is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today.

Barbara C. Donaldson
Homemaker/nanny/caretaker

Barbara C. Donaldson, 75, of 6020 W. CR 592, Fostoria, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born in Augusta, Maine, March 10, 1923, to John and Alta (Reeves) LeClair. In 1965, she married John W. Grove Jr. He preceded her in death in 1965. She later married Rolland H. Donaldson, and he died in 1977.

Surviving are four sons, Jack W., Ralph E. and Roger Sr. Grove, all of Fostoria and Kenneth W. Grove of Gibsonburg; two daughters, Sandra Grove of West Lafayette and Susan Boyd of Wintersville; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Donaldson, a homemaker, also had been employed as an aircraft builder for Lockheed in California, as a nanny and a caretaker for the elderly.

She served as a weekly helper at the Fostoria Sharing Kitchen.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where visitation will take place 1:30 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will be private.

Ralph F. Dreisbach
Fostoria Resident

Funeral services for Ralph F. Dreisbach, 83, of 22133 U.S. 224 East, Fostoria, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at West Independence United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jeffery A. Raker officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, West Independence.

Visitation will be held from 2-5:30 and 7-9 p.m. today at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, and an hour before time of services Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Dreisbach died at 5:35 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998 at his residence.

He was born Jan. 21, 1915 in Biglick Township, Hancock County to Walter and Emma (Elliot) Dreisbach. He married Mildred Diebley on March 27, 1937 in Fostoria, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Donald R. of rural Fostoria; David W. of Cincinnati; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lester (Helen) Habeggar, Bluffton.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert E.; and a brother, Frank E.

Mr. Dreisbach was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Biglick Township.

He graduated in 1933 from Vanlue High School.

He was a member of West Independence United Methodist Church for over 60 years. He also was a former secretary and board member of the Hancock County Dairy Service Unit, and a former board member of NOBA, Inc. of Tiffin and the Producers Livestock Association.

Virginia Mae Durst
Former Secretary at the Fostoria Review Times

Graveside services for Virginia Mae Durst, 72, of Tiffin, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Graham Cemetery, Wayne, the Rev. Betty Wineland officiating.

Visitation will be held from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne.

Mrs. Durst died at 8:40 p.m. Monday, March 30, 1998 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born May 8, 1925 in Prairie Depot (now Wayne) to Lorin L. and Neva P. (Brewer) Chamberlain. She married Russell W.H. Snyder in 1953, and they were divorced. He died in 1982. She married Johnnie C. Durst in 1965, and he survives.

Also surviving are a son, Neal Duane of Fostoria; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Durst was a former secretary at the Fostoria Review Times.

She was a member of West Independence Methodist Church, West Independence, and a graduate of Montgomery Township School in 1943.
