PICTURE # 16 BUILDING 4 and Present day
THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE THE OLDEST EXISTING PHOTOGRAPH OF FOSTORIA OHIO. The photo is taken from above the shingled roof of a building occupied by two Doctors: Hale and Caples. It is the present site of the ROSENDALE Bldg. It is dated 1850 but it is likely it was taken sometime around the Civil War. The view is looking SOUTH on Main St.
