SOMEONE LIKE YOU- rated PG-13
(Carmike Cinemas Findlay)
"Someone Like You" was a romantic comedy, had some funny moments, but overall not very good.
Ashley Judd (one of my favorites) did a nice job. Girl is jilted by co-worker who is seeing her boss on the side, compares male sex to animals with no feelings.
Blow

BLOW- rated R
(Maumee Stadium Cinema)
"Blow" is not for everyone.
It is auto biographical about one ordinary George Jung played by Johnny Depp. Takes his life thru late 60's and 70's as he gets busted for importing and selling cocaine. Spends a lot of time in prison, ends up with no money, wife or daughter.
Johnny Depp and Ray Liotta (his father) do a great job. This movie is worth seeing i give in 4 m&m's.

ALONG CAME A SPIDER- rated R
(Bell Tower Movies (Regal cinema) Fort Myers, FL.)
"Along Came a Spider" Morgan Freeman was very good as Dr. Alex Cross but the movie on the whole was not good. It did not follow the book and Monica Potter as a secret service agent was not her best performance....No romance.
Bridget Jones"s Diary BRIDGET JONES'S DIARY- rated R
(Regal Bell Tower 20 in Fort Myers, FL)
"Bridget Jones's Diary" Starring Renee Zellweger, from All the Pretty Horses, Colin Firth, and Hugh Grant, who is always funny.
Bridget (Renee) an older single girl who starts a diary because her life is going nowhere. Thinks she has found the right man in her life; but the ending is a big surprise!!
House of Mirth HOUSE of MIRTH- rated PG
(Southwyke Art Mall 3 Cinema in Toledo)
"House of Mirth" was great! Based on the Edith Wharton novel during the early 1900s, Gillian Anderson plays a charming socialite who doesn't have a lot of money, but loves someone who will not marry her. Slowly she is left without money and friends. Dan Aykroyd, Elizabeth McGovern and Eric Stoltz also do great jobs in this movie.
It runs 2 hours and 23 minute; but well worth the watch..

TOWN and COUNTRY- reated R
(Maumee Stadium Cinema)
"Town and Country" was delightful. Warren Beatty, who has such humor, is married to Diane Keaton. Garry Shandling and Goldie Hawn make up their best freinds. Porter (Warren) is going through a midlife crisis, finding a cellist to console him. The children add extra laughs. Don't miss this one.

Driven

DRIVEN- rated PG-13
(Caramike Cinema in Findlay)
"Driven" was written and produced by Sylvester Stallone. This movie was okay, lots of racing scenes and they traveled to a lot of countries to race. Stallone has been race car driver andr is asked to help a young race car driver, played by Kip Pardue, who is failing to win. It also stars Burt Reynolds. just an okay movie.
