Art Gallery
An art gallery is provided in the Fostoria Community Arts Council (FCAC)offices in downtown Fostoria to showcase the work of local/area artists.


Concert Services
The FCAC provides free concerts during the summer at Wainwright Amphitheatre in Meadowlark Park and in Gray Park. Free concerts during the winter take place on Sunday afternoons in the Fostoria High SchoolPerforming Arts Center.

Workshops
The FCAC coordinates and hosts a variety of workshops for children and adults, most of which take place in the FCAC office and gallery. Subjects range from mask making and Easter egg decorating for children, to drawing and dancing lessons for adults.

Contests
An annual Christmas card design contest is conducted by the FCAC. The winning design is used for the cover of Fostoria Community Cards printed and sold by the FCAC. The organization also conducts a creative writing contest annually with categories for age and style.

Bus Tours
Excursions to various exhibits, events, and attractions are coordinated by the FCAC.

Mission Statement


The Fostoria Community Arts Council is dedicated to enriching the community

through the coordination and promotion of the Arts.

Officers

The President of the Fostoria Community Arts Council is Browning Payne.

Serving directly below him is Jo Faeth. Mary Puffenberger serves as the Councils'

Secretary. The person in charge of all financial matters is Sonny Sackett, the

Treasurer. Board meetings are held every fourth Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. in

the morning.

Membership


An associates campaign takes place annually to promote membership in the

FCAC. Associates often enjoy discounted rates for FCAC events. To become an

associate, call the office or e-mail the FCAC at FostoriaArts.com.
