Our Sister, our Mother, Our Friend
Beautiful woman, big blue eyes,
Gorgeous smile a mile wide.
Graceful fingers with a loving touch,
Great big heart that loves so much.
Slender body carried so well,
Soothing voice with wisdom to tell.
Long brown hair she loved to style,
Always perfect, it made you smile.
A wonderful wife and mother of two,
So loving and gentle, knowing what to do.
Creativity flowed from her two hands,
Crafting, baking, sewing many strands.
All hearts touched by the love that she gave,
Forever showing to all she was brave.
Spunky and funny, so full of life,
Who knew, she would have so much strife.
Into God’s hands we have placed her,
Trusting his love to protect her forever.
Think of Jami with all the love in your heart,
Knowing and dreading the day we will part.
To heaven she will go in the Lord’s palms,
We have to let go without many qualms.
Soon, she’ll have her angel wings,
In heaven above, the choir sings.
In heaven, she’ll be at peace, understand that,
The Lord protects his own, that’s a fact.
She will watch over us from heaven above,
Protecting, watching, showering us with love.
Whether sunny or when it will rain,
Think of Jami free of her pain.
