Kelly, Rulth Evelyn LOVELL, CLARENCE L. Father of Fostorian Funeral services for Clarence L. "Moon" Lovell, 83,
of 511 Center St., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Routson
Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Lowell Reeder officiating. Burial will
be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, with military
rites by Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday
at the funeral home.
Mr. Lovell died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002 at his residence.
He was born March 21, 1919 in Findlay to Charles and
Nellie (Butler) Lovell. He married Alice M. Hutchinson on
Oct. 2, 1945, and she died in 1983.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Alice) Dauterman,
Fostoria; Patricia Laube and Mrs. Steve (Kathy) Gase, both
of Findlay; a son, Clarence "Lee" Jr. of Franklin, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Wibbing,
and Estella and Helen Pauline, all of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Frey,
Julia Smith and an infant, Mary Ellen Lovell; two brothers,
Desso and Robert.
Mr. Lovell retired in 1981 as a tire builder at Cooper
Tire & Rubber Co. after more than 30 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church,
DAV, Moose Lodge and AMVETS.

Duane Lewis, 66, of West SR 18, Fostoria, died at 4:23 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at his home. He was born Jan. 27, 1936, in Carey to Luther and Lillie (Risner) Lewis, and raised in Saylersville, Ky. His wife, Delores Irene (Haase) Lewis, whom he married Dec. 23, 1956, in Fostoria, survives in Fostoria. Other survivors include: two sons, David Lewis of Kansas and Phillip Lewis of Angola, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Debra) Lilly and Patty Stahl, both of Fostoria, Donna Decker of Tiffin and Cindy Lewis of Bowling Green; a brother, John Lewis of Fostoria; two sisters, Lois Musser of Fostoria and Shelby McMillan of Angola, Ind.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens near Arcadia. Firstenberger, 41, Fremont, died Dec. 29 2002 at her residence
She was born May 23, 1961 in Toledo
to Donald C. and Mary Alice (Willoby) Lambright, and he, Donald, survives
in Fostoria. She married Lowell V. Firstenberger June
23 1979 at Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria and he survives
in Fremont
Also surviving are a son, Theodore
Firstenberger, Fremont , a daughter, Jill Firstenerger, Fremont,
and a sister, Susan h Holman, Fostoria.
A 1979 graduate
of Fostoria High School, Mrs. Firstenberger attended Terra
Community College and was active in the Loyal Order of the
Moose and the VFW.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday
at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, the Rev. Ervin Walther officiating.
burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to
8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

LOVEJOY, RUBY FOSTORIA -- Funeral services for Ruby Ethel Lovejoy,
75, of 1521 Countyline, Lot 114, Fostoria, will be
held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home,
West Hamlin, W.Va., the Revs. Earnest Vance and Lee
Rakes officiating. Burial will be in Scites Cemetery, Sias,
W.Va.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. today at
the funeral home.
Mrs. Lovejoy died at 11:58 a.m. Friday, March
7, 2003 at Toledo Hospital.
She was born Feb. 23, 1928 in Big Ugly, W.Va.
to William and Pearl (Lovejoy) Adkins. She married
Ralph Franklin Vance on Aug. 28, 1947, and he died Dec.
22, 1948. She later married Mervin Ray Lovejoy on
May 4, 1961, and he died July 17, 2000.
Surviving are seven sons, David J. Vance Sr.,
Cleveland; Calvin F. Vance, North Baltimore; Alvin R.,
Garfield L., Bobby D. and Don E. Lovejoy, all of Fostoria;
Robert D. Lovejoy, Findlay; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren;
five brothers, Billy, Garfield, Lonnie and Don Adkins and
Herb Dolin, all in West Virginia; and four sisters,
Opal Spry and Della Davis, both in West Virginia; Edith
Toney, in Missouri; and Betty Dolin, in Ohio.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren
and two sisters, Nellie and Becky Adkins.
Mrs. Lovejoy was a homemaker.
She was a member of Praise Chapel Ladies Ministries.
LAMBRIGHT, JIM D. FOSTORIA -- Jim D. Lambright Sr., 65, of West
Lytle Street, Fostoria, died at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday,
March 11, 2003 at St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
He was born Dec. 14, 1937 in Fostoria to Albert
and Clarissa (Dixon) Lambright. He married Marlene
McGee, and they were divorced. He later married Clara
Caudill, and they were divorced. He later married
Glenna Doe, and they were divorced.
Surviving are a son, Jim D. Jr. of Toledo; two
stepsons, Trevor Doe, Fostoria; Don Smith, in Nebraska;
three stepdaughters, Donna Davis, Lorain; Tracy Potter,
Fostoria; Andrea Cress, Bettsville; 13 grandchildren;
a brother, Bill of Fostoria; and a sister, Mrs. Ronald
(Marlene) Caudill, Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert
Barchus; and a sister, Julia Poole.
Mr. Lambright retired in 1985 as an electrician
at Atlas Crankshaft Co., Fostoria, after 28 years.
He was a 1955 graduate of Fostoria High School.
He was treasurer of Dry Haven in Fostoria, and
was a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics "Flying
Dutchman" and "Flying Fools" Radio Control Club.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday
at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Rose
Anez officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery,
Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Thursday at the funeral home.

KRUPP-SMITH, EDNA M. FOSTORIA -- Funeral services for Edna M. "Enny"
Krupp-Smith, 89, of Fostoria, will be held at 10:30
a.m. Monday at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial
will be in St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, March 12, 2003
at her residence.
She was born Nov. 14, 1913 in Fostoria to
Albert and Verna (Myers) Krupp.
Surviving are two brothers, Virgil "Butch"
Krupp, Fostoria; and Ralph Krupp, Tuscaloosa, Ala.
She was preceded in death by three brothers,
Harold, Charles and Raymond Krupp.
Mrs. Krupp-Smith worked in sales for Montgomery
Ward and the Little Folks Shop, both formerly in
Fostoria.

KUHN, PAUL HENRY Brother of Fostorian
Paul Henry Kuhn, 39 Main St., Tiffin, died Friday,
March 14, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 24, 1921, in Seneca County to
Henry and Myrtle (Kuhn) Kuhn.
Surviving are: two sons, Robert (Patricia) Kuhn
of Tiffin and David (Debra) Kuhn of Fostoria; four
daughters, Mrs. Peter (Ruth) Gallagher of Fostoria,
Mrs. Joseph (Sheila) Kromer of Bloomdale, Mrs. Scott
(Linda) Heiden of Michigan, and Mrs. Paul G. (Theresa)
Williams of Fostoria; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;
and two sisters, Evelyn Kimmet of Tiffin and Alice
Hammer of Fostoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry
and Myrtle Kuhn; a daughter, Betty Jean Kuhn; a grandson,
Daniel Kuhn; two sisters, Florence Rmich and Dorothy
Boes; and a brother, Richard Kuhn.
Mr. Kuhn was a pipeline worker and member of Local
798 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Tulsa, Okla. He
was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church
in Bascom.
The Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday
at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where a Rosary will
be prayed at 9:40 a.m. The Rev. Art Niewiadomski is
officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery
in Bascom.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoening
Funeral Home in Fostoria (419-435-8200) and also 9-10
a.m. Tuesday at the church. A Christian Wake service
will be at 8:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

William L. Lind, DDS, 66
Powell, died March 11, 2003
He is survived by four
sons, William M. Lind, Pickerington; Scott L. Lind,
Westerville, Kerry D. Lind, Harrisburg; Brad
H. Lind Westerville; one daughter, Terri Kuharik,
Dublin; three sisters Lucy Emory of Virginia;
Dorothy Schwab of Wisconsin, and Evelyn Brandeberry
of Fostoria; and seven grandchildren.
Dr. Lind was a 1954 graduate
of Fostoria High School. He earned his bachelor's
degree from Ohio State University and was a 1961
graduate of the college of Dentistry. He was
a veteran of the United States Army.
Dr. Lind practiced dentistry
in Grove City for over 20 years. He also taught
at the OSU College of Dentistry and then practiced
dentistry in Westerville. He was a member
of the President's Club and the Ohio State University
College of Dentistry Alumni Association.
Services will be 11 a.m.
Saturday at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450
W. Olentangy St., Powell. A private family
burial well take place at a later date.
Visitation is from 6-9
p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral

Donald R. Kemenah, 48, formerly of South Park Ave., Republic, then Autumnwood Nursing Home in Tiffin, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin. He was born Sept. 4, 1954, in Fostoria, to the late Francis and Deloris G. (Durst) Kemenah. Surviving are: two brothers, Harold Kemenah and Stanley Kemenah, both of Fremont; and two sisters, Vickie Clevinger of Fremont and Jane Sharp of Helena. The funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be 3 p.m. Thursday, April 17 in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Christina "Betty" Lafontaine, 85, of Alvada, died at 1 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2003, at Independence House in Fostoria. She was born Oct. 29, 1917, in Seneca County to Michael and Emma (Hammer) Frankart. They are deceased. On March 4, 1935, she married Simon C. Reinhart. He died July 30, 1953. She then married Lloyd F. Lafontaine Dec. 29, 1956. He died Jan. 29, 1994. Surviving are: three sons, Donald (Theresa) Reinhart of Alvada, Floyd (Ann) Reinhart of Sycamore, and Dale (Mary) Reinhart of Carey; two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Carolyn) Amburgey of Findlay and Mrs. Joe (Pat) Stevens of Alvada; a stepson, Daniel (Joey) Lafontaine of Elgin, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carl (Judy) Hucke of Carey; a brother, Paul Frankart of Fostoria; a sister, Mrs. Paul L. (Corrine) Williams of Fostoria; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Reinhart of Alvada; 37 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were: a son, Eugene Reinhart; a daughter, Mary Catherine Earl; two grandchildren, Steven Reinhart and Christina Jean Amburgey; three brothers, Alfred, Albert and Francis "Dutch" Frankart; and two sisters, Rita Smith and Mary Williams. Mrs. Lafontaine was a homemaker. She also worked at Edgewood Manor in Fostoria for 11 years and Penwood Motel in Alvada for 20 years. Her memberships include: St. Peter Catholic Church in Alvada, and its Rosary-Altar Society; New Riegel Right to Life; New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary; a life member of Seneca County Farm Bureau; Third Order of St. Francis; a Sacristan of the church for many years, and a lifetime "Caregiver." Lind, Annabel B. 'Ann' FOSTORIA -- Annabel B."Ann" Lind, 86, of Fostoria,
died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2003, in Fostoria
Community Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1916, in Liberty Township,
Seneca County, to the late John Raymond and Emma
Elizabeth (Kimmet) Puffenberger. Her husband,
Jacob "Jake" Lind Jr., whom she married Sept.
22, 1934, in Newport, Ky., died Oct. 7, 1993.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Kay
M.) Ruvolo of Parma, Ohio; two sons, Ronald J.
(Diane) Lind and David W. Lind, both of Fostoria;
10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven
step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. William
(Evone) Mooney, Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Raitz and Mrs.
Dwight (Joann) Holzworth, all of Tiffin and Mrs.
Norton (Marian) Boyer of Fostoria; and a brother,
John Puffenberger of Fostoria.
A brother, Robert Puffenberger, is deceased.
Mrs. Lind, a 1934 graduate of Bettsville High
School, had worked at the former Bersted and Don's
IGA Supermarket, both of Fostoria. She was a member
of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and
its Rosary-Altar Society, where she served as
past secretary. She also served as a Eucharistic
minister and Lector and was on the Funeral Dinner
and Baptismal Committees at the church.
She had been president and financial secretary
of Longfellow Schools PTA and a tutor for the
school's reading program. Also a member of the
Fostoria Woman's Club, she was an election board
volunteer and delivered Meals on Wheels.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30
a.m. Thursday, April 24, in St. Wendelin Catholic
Church, where a rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the

Evelyn M. Lewallen, 83, formerly of Wharton, died at 10:05 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Fairhaven Care Center in Upper Sandusky, where she was residing. She was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Risingsun, to the late Thomas and Ida (Edgar) Walters. On March 6, 1937, in Fostoria, she married Robert E. Lewallen. He died May 13, 1979. Surviving are: two sons, Tom Lewallen of Cygnet and Fred Lewallen of Wharton; three daughters, Princess Edwards of Wayne, Gloria Bridenstine and Fay Bridenstine, both of Forest; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. FOSTORIA -- Dorothy M. Klopp, 79, of Fostoria, died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Fostoria Community Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1923, in Johnstown, Pa., to Lee and Bernice (Robbins) Decker, she married John Joseph Klopp, Jr., and he died in 1959. Mrs. Klopp is survived by: two sons, David J. Klopp, Pembroke, Va., and James R. Klopp, Ussex, Wis.; a daughter, Jennifer L. Miller, Oviedl, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clyde Decker, Fostoria. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; one son, John F. Klopp; and two brothers, Lester and Marion Decker. Mrs. Klopp was a homemaker and operated Dot's Ceramic Shoppe out of her home for 21 years. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Fostoria. Former FHS Alumni (1948) Family members and many friends of Gib Lane gathered at his home in Rocklin, CA on May 25th, 2003 to celebrate his life. He passed away on May 15th after a long bout with cancer. Gib was born in Fostoria in 1930. After graduating from Fostoria high in 1948, where he was class president in his Junior and Senior years, he attended Indiana University where he received his B.S., and upon his return from serving with the U.S. Army in Korea, his M.B.A. He and his family then moved to California where he was engaged in various business activities and also worked on his Ph.D. from Stanford University while teaching economics at the Junior College of San Mateo. In 1966 the Lanes moved to Karachi, Pakistan where Gib was Director of Private Enterprise for USAID. Upon his return in 1970 he consulted for Aid for International Development in various countries and worked on other projects as an international consultant. Gib and Nancy also spent two years, 1977 to 1980 in London where Gib worked with an international bank. Throughout the years following his tenure in Pakistan, he had an intense interest in Third World problems, and until his death he was working on a project to find ways to create food for poor countries by using agricultural by-products He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Nancy Carter Lane; daughters Kathy, Jenny and Libby; His mother, Mrs. Clara Lane of Fostoria and sister Jeannine Smith, also of Fostoria and Judith Collier, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. Kidd, 64, of Fostoria, died at 11:54 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2003, at his home. He was born July 13, 1938, in Crabapple, to the late Wilbur J. and Ethel L. (Donner) Kidd. On June 22, 1963, in Lafferty, he married Dorothy A. Rainbow. She survives. Also surviving are: two sons, Donald E. and Robert A. Kidd, both of Fostoria; two daughters, Dorothy I. Kidd of St. Clairsville and Dawnette Albert of Carey; one grandchild; four brothers, Arthur N. Kidd of Columbus, Duane T. Kidd of St. Clairsville, William J. Kidd of Lafferty, and Jesse A. Kidd of Bannock; and five sisters, Carolyn R. She was born May 15, 1948 in Fremont to Randall and Lois Jean Polter, her father survives. She married Jack Kiser in 1968; and he survives. To this union are three surviving children: Michelle Carpenter of Newport News, Va.; Jennifer Arnold, Newark; and Dawn Kiser of Newark, Del. In 1991, she was remarried to Jeffrey Lammers of Findlay; and he survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Dan and Larry Polter; two nephews, Tony and Steve; and her step-mother, Catherine Polter all of Fremont; as well as a stepson, Dennis Lammers, Ashland. Renda was loved throughout the community as a wife, mother, daughter, friend and sister in Christ. She was a member and led several bible study groups at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia. She was president of the Findlay Garden Club, a member of the Ohio Florist Association and a member of the Ohio Republican Party. An entrepreneur at heart, Renda followed her life-long dream and built a successful greenhouse business that served the Findlay-Fostoria area. Ruth Evelyn Kelly, 80 of Fostoria, died at 2:55 A.M., Monday July 14, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital Maumee. She was born June 23 1923 in Fostoria to Clarence Christopher and Thelma Ruth (Starner) Shirk, and they preceded her in death. Evelyn was a 1941 graduate of Fostoria High School, and worked as a Secretary for a number of Fostoria area companies including Fostoria Industries, the former Society Bank, and the former Sherwood Plastics. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Fostoria. Her interests included playing bridge several nights a week and volunteering at Fostoria community Hospital, Good Shepherd Home, and for the American Red Cross Blood Drives. Surviving are a son Gregg D. Kelly, Columbus, IN; a daughter, Sue A Woodland, North Wales PA: three grandchildren, Becky Kelly, Columbus, IN, Jacki Mann, Fisher, In and Amy Thomas, Findlay; a brother, Tom Youngman, Jr., Fostoria; and a sister Patricia Warrington Flora City FL. Richard L. and Marilyn A. (Zender) Kessler.
His mother survives in New Riegel. His father is deceased. Mr. Kessler was employed as a human resource manager for Farmland Foods in New Riegel. He was a 1987 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 1991 graduate of the University of Toledo, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, and the Seneca Bass Masters. He loved fishing, enjoyed bowling and was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Cincinnati Reds fan. She was a member of Amsden United Methodist Church and was a 1944 graduate of Jackson Liberty High School. She loved her family and enjoyed flowers and wildlife. ARCADIA -- Dean A. Lowery, 69, Arcadia, died at 11:41 a.m. Aug. 22, 2003 at Harper University Hospital, Detroit, Mich. He was born June 6, 1934 in Adrian, OH to Harley "Tom" and Clara (Boes) Lowery. On July 21, 1956 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, he married Noreta Weber and she survives. He was the loving father of four daughters, Gwen Mauger, Findlay, OH; Connie Lowery, Richmond, VA; Lisa (Dan) Hilty, Dawsonville, GA; and Carla Counts, Arcadia, OH; and a son, Joseph (Tani) Lowery, Arlington, OH. He will be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren, Erin, Amy and Corey (Cecile) Mauger, Cara and Cassidy Lowery, David Grine, Alaina and Brodie Counts, Gavin and Caitlin Lowery, his two step-grandchildren Amanda and Brad Boothe, and his two great-grandchildren Mason Hill and Kyley Mauger. Also surviving are seven brothers, Donald (Irene), Dale (Charlotte), Ramon (Beatrice), Jerry (Joanne), and Arlen (Sue) Lowery of Fostoria; and Paul (Marguarite) Lowery, Findlay; Roy (Nancy) Lowery, Wooster, OH; and a sister Gloria Krupp, Temperance, MI. He was predeceased by a brother, Darrell Lowery. Dean was a 1952 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and enjoyed organizing his class reunions. He retired in 1997 from Whirlpool Corp., Findlay, with 27 years of service. He had previously farmed and worked for Sears. Currently he delivered cars for Jim May Auto Group and AutoWorld, Findlay. In his spare time, Dean enjoyed volunteering at Arcadia school to video the Lady Redskin basketball team. He was at every sporting event for his grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments. He had for many years been a bus driver for the school, driving the band, the sports teams, and field trips, He was past president of the Arcadia Lions Club, and a frequent blood donor, He attended St. Michael Catholic Church, Findlay, for many years, and was currently a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. Visitation will be held today form 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hoening Funeral home, Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Born Jan. 10, 1922 in Bellaire to Samuel and Luenna Kelly, both deceased, she married Henry P. Kramer in April of 1939 and he died in July of 1983. Surviving is a son, Richard P. Born May 28, 1941 in Alvada to Florian C. and Emma (Bugner) LaFontaine, he married Linda Kuhn and she survives in Florida. Also surviving are his mother, Emma LaFontaine, New Riegel; two sons, Peter C. of Lutz, Fla.; and Robert S. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Annette; daughter, Cheyenna Nicole King, five months old, at home; and stepson, Justin Richard Losh, 13 years old, at home; his parents, a brother, Christopher Allen (Debora Searcy) of Toledo; a sister, Tracie Sue (Brian Castle) Wells, Toledo; and two nieces, Abbagail and Lynn Wells. Ralph "Joe" Lynch, 46, of 8141 W. CR 28, Amsden, Ohio, died at 5:47 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, in Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born March 25, 1957, in Sacramento, Calif., to the late Ralph M. and Margaret E. (Watson) Lynch. Surviving are two daughters, Katie Lynch of Amsden and Natasha Lynch of Tiffin; and two brothers, Michael S. Lynch of Fostoria and Perry F. Lynch of Bettsville. Mr. Lynch worked at Seneca Wire and Manufacturing in Fostoria for 27 years. He was a member of Amsden United Methodist Church and Skilled Trades UAW. An avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, he also was a SAL of the American Legion and most of all he was a full-time father. He graduated in 1975 from Bettsville High School. He was born Jan. 29, 1927 to Donald M. and Mary Lucille (McKittrick) Kurtz in Brooklyn Village. He married Patricia (Beckwith) on Aug. 30, 1950 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 14, 1997. He was born in Hancock County on Oct. 30, 1928 to Irey and Henrietta (Wannamaker) Kiser. He married Pauline R. Bourbeau on Sept. 3, 1949 in Manchester, N.H., and she survives. He was an apartment manager for Winthrop Terrace for 13 1/2 years. He was past Financial Officer and current Adjutant of the Amvets. Mr. Kiser was a member of the local DAV, Amvets, and a member of Sad Sacks, and the K of C. He was a volunteer for the Special Olympics and the Veteran's Hospital in Sandusky. He was a 1947 graduate of St. Wendelin High School. Mr. Kiser loved building model airplanes, stamp collecting and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, downtown Findly, the Rev. Adam Hertzfeld officiating. Burial will be in Knollcrest Cemetery, east of Findlay, with full military rites conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Squad. LeBay, 60, of 736 College Street, Findlay died at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, December 28, 2003 at his residence. Frank was born April 20, 1943 in Toledo to Frank Floyd and Pearl V. (Orwick) LeBay, both are deceased. He retired in 1998 from Countrymark, Findlay, served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and graduated from Findlay High School in 1961. Surviving is a sister Thelma McRill, Findlay; niece Debra Felkner, Benton Ridge, OH.; nephew Lynn McRill, Findlay; two great nieces, Tracy Greer, Benton Ridge, and Julie Haney, Fostoria; great nephew, Timothy Felkner, Newalla, OK; two great great nieces and eight great great nephews.
