Armella M. (Falter) Krebs, 100, of New Washington, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at the Independence House in Fostoria. She was born Dec. 28, 1901, in Seneca County to the late Cornelius and Susannah (Gengler) Falter. She married Victor F. Krebs on June 10, 1924, and he preceded her in death in 1955. Survivors include: a son, Donald E. Krebs of Tom's River, N.J.; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Ann Marie) Hageman of Lakewood, and Mrs. Floyd (Susan) Lawless of Fostoria; 26 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, where there will be a prayer service at 8:45 p.m. Louise L. Louys, 91, of North Union St., Fostoria, died at 3:36 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Independence House in Fostoria. She was born March 17, 1910, in Bryan to the late Frederic and Laura (Krauss) Louys. Survivors include: a sister, Lamoille Huffman of Bryan, and several nieces and nephews. Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Fostoria. Burial will be in Shiffler Cemetery in Bryan. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria, where a Delta Kappa Gamma Memorial Service will take place at 6 p.m. Visitation will also be one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church. FOSTORIA -- Wilfred J. "Bill" Lonsway, 82, of 917 S. Poplar
St., Fostoria, died at 1:01 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at St.
Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
He was born April 9, 1919, in Fostoria to Edmund and Corinne (Bisner) Lonsway. He married Marie Anna Landoll on Jan. 20, 1943, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, and she survives in Fostoria. Also surviving are a daughter, Marcia Pavia, Philadelphia; a son, Brother Michael of Philadelphia; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene of Ashland; Donald of North Carolina; and Gerald of Tennesse; and three sisters, Rita Snodgress, Paulding; Marie Elchert, Upper Sandusky; and Erma McGrain, New Riegel. Mr. Lonsway was preceded in death by four sisters, Joan Wolph, Norma Lehmann, Lucille Yeager and Kathryn Opp. Mr. Lonsway was a meat cutter for Don's IGA, Fostoria. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He received the Bronze Star and Distinguished Flying Cross. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. He was a 1937 graduate of St. Wendelin High School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, with military rites by United Veterans of Fostoria. ALVADA -- Nina M. Lipker, 91, of Marion, and formerly of Alvada,
died at 9:25 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at Community Health
Care Center, Marion.
She was born Aug. 3, 1910, in Ironton to John and Eva (Wilson) Dickess. She married Charles H. Lipker on June 24, 1932, in Ironton, and he died Oct. 2, 1990. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Lois) Kneisley, Marion; and Phyllis Lipker, Jupiter, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Walter Dickess; and three sisters, Hazel Jenkins, Mary Etta Addis and Katherine Inch. Mrs. Lipker was a homemaker and assisted her husband's evangelist ministry. She was a member of Fostoria First Church of the Nazarene. She graduated from Ada High School. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Russell Gumm officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin. She was born on July 10, 1931, in Delbarton, W.Va., to the
late Conley and Mae (Blevins) Farmer. She married Melvin
Kinney on July 16, 1959, in Columbus and he survives. Other survivors include: son, Conley T. Kinney of Fostoria;
two brothers, Charles Farmer of Ravenswood, W.Va., and Robert
Farmer of Columbus; sister, Ruth Trosky of Cummin, Ga.; and two grandsons. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Harrold-Floriana
Funeral Home with the Rev. Alonzo Wise officiating.

Union St., Fostoria, died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. 2002, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee. She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Carey to Peter and Caroline (Moes) Collet. She married Ralph F. Kleinfelter on April 17, 1941, at Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, and he died Nov. 21, 1978. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Myers, Findlay; four sons, Donald of Bloomville; Roger of Milford; James of Orrville; Robert of Toledo; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Doris May Koepfer, 79, of Pelton Road, Fostoria, died at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, in Fostoria Community Hospital. She was born July 27, 1922, in Fostoria to the late Samuel and Wynema (Worley) DeWalt. On Aug. 4, 1946, she married Karl J. Koepfer at St. Peter Catholic Church, Alvada, and he died May 29, 1988. She is survived by a son, Barry D. (Nancy) Koepfer, and a grandson, Andrew (Tanya) Koepfer, all of Fostoria. Preceding her in death was a brother, Ed DeWalt. Mrs. Koepfer retired in 1982, after 30 years of service with Excello in Fostoria. She was a member of Excello Ladies Retirees Group and St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. She was born June 23, 1918 to Floyd and Nelle (Franke) Kinnaman. She married Howard H. Hyte May 18, 1942 and he died Jan. 19, 1971. She is survived by one son, Jim Hyte, Glendale, Ariz; one grandson; three stepgranddaughters; three stepgreat-granddaughters; one stepgreat-grandson; and two stepgreat-great-grandsons. She was also preceded in death by one stepson, Ronald C. Hyte; and one brother, Donald Kinnaman. Mrs. Hyte formerly was employed as a secretary to the Fostoria Police Department prosecutor. William S. "Bill" Lee, 87, formerly of Fostoria, died at 4:57 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, in Autumn Court, Ottawa. He was born Oct. 23, 1914, in Napoleon to Clayton and Vera (Stykmain) Lee. He married Mary Ruth Wyer and she survives in Arlington. Other survivors include: four sons, William R. of Columbia, S.C., Raymond A. of Norfolk, Va., Donnell of Fostoria, and David of Greenback, Tenn.; three stepdaughters, Denise Powell of Findlay, Dawn Hindel of Arlington, and Diane Harden of Texas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Arthur Klugsberg, 87, a resident of St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at the nursing home. He was born April 6, 1914, in Jamestown, N.Y. to Jacob and Frieda (Levick) Klugsberg. He married Dorothy Dury on June 30, 1946, and she died Dec. 27, 1968. He then married Kate Barkley on June 6, 1970, and she died June 15, 1984. He then married Helen Maxine Waltermier on Nov. 4, 1989, and she survives. He was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Golomb. Mr. Klugsberg formerly owned and operated Arthur's Jewelry, Fostoria. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and Lions Club, and a former member of Chamber Music Trio, all in Fostoria. He was a charter member of American Watchmakers Institute. He played the violin with Columbus Symphony, Carnegie-Mellon Symphony in Pittsburgh, Pa. and McKeesport, Pa. Symphony. He was born March 5, 1919, in Alvada to the late Ira B. and
Philomena (Wagner) Keiffer. He married Frances U. Ritzler, and
they are divorced.
Survivors include: three sons, Michael P. Keiffer of Texas,
Anthony W. Keiffer of Fostoria and Raymond A. Keiffer of Burgoon;
seven daughters, Mrs. Paula (Jim) Walters of New York, Mrs.
Margaret (Ed) Schwab of Findlay, Mrs. Ann (Dave) Scherger of
Fostoria, Alice Fletcher of Carey, Lindsay Drake of Fostoria,
Mrs. Kathy (Robert) Santos of Fostoria and Mrs. Connie (Dave)
Myers of Bascom; 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and
a sister, Rita Cavanaugh of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Clarence,
and Earl Keiffer and a sister, Alma Theis.
Mr. Keiffer retired in 1982 from Union Carbide in Fostoria.
He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of the New
Riegel American Legion Post 354.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Seneca Memory
Gardens in Tiffin with the Rev. Jon Bravinder officiating. The
New Riegel American Legion will conduct military honors at the
ceremony.

April 3, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He died

"Bud" Kinn of Tiffin, Timothy L. Kinn of New Riegel and Gordon

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son,

Babb, Dolores Szablewski, Dorothy Magers and Alice Magers.
Mrs. Kinn retired in 1988, as a registered nurse for more
than 44 years, having worked at Fostoria City Hospital, Tiffin
Mercy Hospital, and for Dr. E. Ley. She was a Lieutenant
in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She belonged to
St. Peter Catholic Church in Alvada and its Rosary-Altar Society;
New Riegel Legion Post 354; Women of the Moose, New Riegel
Chapter 253; lifetime member of Mercy Alumni Association,
Toledo; AllenEiry Senior Center, Tiffin; and the Catholic
Nurses Association. Mrs. Kinn was a 1941 graduate of
Calver High School, Tiffin, and a 1944 graduate of Mercy School
of Nursing, Toledo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St.
Peter Catholic Church, Alvada, with the Rev. Leonard Kistler,
C.PP.S., the Rev Harry Cananaugh, C.PP.S., and the Rev. Maurice
Hayes, O.F.M. Conv., Deacon Lewis Reinhart officiating. Burial

Willie Lemaster, 68, of Maple Street, Fostoria, died
at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002, at St. Catherine's

He was born Aug. 10, 1933, in Magoffin, Ky., to the late
Sammie and Stella (Cantrell) Lemaster.

Mr. Kroetz drowned at Nickel Plate Beach, Huron,
on Wednesday, July 10, 2002.
He was born July 20, 1972, in Fostoria to Ed
and Sandy (Leisenring) Kroetz. They survive in Fostoria.
He married Rachel E. Smith on Sept. 9, 1998, in Findlay,
and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Holly M. Kroetz,
Fostoria; five brothers, Michael E. of Tiffin; Jeffrey
A. of Perrysburg; Patrick N. and Phillip C., both of Amsden;
Jonathan R. of Fostoria; two sisters, Mrs Stephen (Kristine
M.) Kent and Leslie E. Kroetz, both of Fostoria.
Mr. Kroetz worked at the Wal-Mart warehouse,
Findlay, and had previously worked in security at Blanchard
Valley Regional Health Center. He also was an assistant
to a local veterinarian for several years.
He served in Findlay's National Guard Unit,
being discharged in 1996.
He was a 1990 graduate of Fostoria High School.
He was a member of Eagle Scout Troop 436, Fostoria,
and received the Broken Arrow Award.

Richard E. "Dick " Liskai, 54, of CR 55, Gibsonburg,
died Saturday, July 20, 2002, at James Cancer Hospital
in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born Oct. 15, 1947, to Alexander and Marian
(Tille) Liskai in Gibsonburg. He married Cheryl (Lentz)
Lesher Nov. 26, 1976, in Bradner. She survives in Gibsonburg.
Also surviving are: his mother, Marian Liskai of Gibsonburg;
a son, Brent Liskai of Fostoria; three daughters, Michelle
Bowe of Helena, Tonya Kiskai of Fostoria, Jeannette Liskai
of Gibsonburg; five grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth
Blain of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Joan Vincent of Gibsonburg,
Pat Hendricks of Montpelier and Sandy Haubert of Lakrspur,
Colo.
After graduating from Gibsonburg High School in 1966,
Mr. Liskai worked 13 years for the Dana Corporation in
Toledo. After that, he worked as a self-employed truck
driver until his illness. Mr. Liskai was an avid Sprint
car driver and raced
around the Ohio tracks, for the past 39 years as the driver of car number 6. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Nopper-Veh
Funeral Home in Gibsonburg. Burial will be in North Union
Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, also 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jack Klabian, 81, of Tiffin, died at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug.
16, 2002, in Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
He was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Joe
and Helen Elizabeth (Gordon) Klabian.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wendelin
Cemetery in Fostoria, where burial will take place.
There will be no visitation.

of 123 E. Culbertson St., Fostoria, died at 10:55
a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at Blanchard Valley Regional
Health Center, Findlay.
She was born Dec. 15, 1918, in Galveston, Texas,
to Juan and Mercedes (Ruiz) Flores. She married
Gusto Stanley "Gus" Lopez on June 24, 1942, at St. Wendelin
Catholic Church, Fostoria, and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph A. of Fostoria;
three daughters, Mrs. Frank (M. Rebecca "Becky")
Malagon and Christina "Tina" DeLaRosa, both of Fostoria;
Mrs. Richard (Virginia "Ginny") Lopez de Holien,
Lafayette, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren;
four step-great-grandchildren; and three sisters,
Mrs. Jose (Lucille) Hernandez, Mrs. Ernest (Ruth) Saenz,
Mrs. Richard (Cory) Macias, all of Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven John;
three brothers, Hipolito, Florentino and Antonio
Flores; and two sisters, Julia and Brigida Flores.
Mrs. Lopez retired in 1982 as a production checker
from Bendix, Fostoria, after 30 years. During World
War II, she painted the inside of military planes for
Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego.
She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church
and its Guadalupe Society, where she served as a
president for more than 10 years. She also served as eucharist
minister, former parish council member and building

Vista, Calif.; and a sister, Marlene Foster, Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by a son, Rick; and
a sister, Marjorie Turner.
Mrs. Lautsch was a homemaker.

Kleinhen, 84, of Eaton and formerly of Fostoria,

Mrs. Kleinhen died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002
at Greenbriar Nursing Center, Eaton.
She was born June 19, 1918 in Ottumwa, Iowa
to John and Vineta (Mizer) Crawford. She married
Robert D. Kleinhen, and he died in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Stephen R. of
Eaton; John R. of Kalida; Dennis M. of Naples, Fla.;
nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard
Crawford.
Mrs. Kleinhen was the owner and operator of
Kleinhen's Office Supply, Fostoria.
She graduated from Ottumwa High School in
1936, and from Mount St. Scholastica, Atchison, Kan.,
in 1940.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church,
Eaton.

KETNER, LULU FAYE Lulu Faye Ketner, 78, of St. Catherine's Care Center
in Fostoria, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at St.
Catherine's.
She was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Gallia County, to Charles
and Bessie Rose (Bomer) Moore. On March 29, 1964, she
married Alvin Ketner, Jr. in Hancock County. He died
May 1990.
Surviving are: a stepson, Jerry Ketner of Albuquerque,
N.Mex.; three brothers, James Saxtox of Wayne, Elbert
Bomer of Risingsun and Robert Bomer of Bradner; a sister,
Gertrude Kreais of Wayne and four grandchildren.
Service will be 1:30 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana
Funeral Home in Fostoria. Burial will be in Harmon Cemetery
near Gilboa.

Mrs. Lincoln-Simms died of natural causes
at 9:58 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Fostoria to
John N. and Edith Fay (Creech) Pullom. She married
Terry Lincoln in 1971, and they divorced. She
later married Theodore Anthony Simms III June 5, 2002,
and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Terrence A. "Chico"
Lincoln, Holland; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Donielle
R. "Mitzi") Lincoln, Mansfield; two stepsons,
Terry A. Lincoln Jr. and El-On Simms; and three
stepdaughters, Jada Price, and Yolanda and Dominique
Simms; five grandchildren; three brothers, William
"Bunny" Pullom, Fostoria; John N. Pullom, Cairo, Egypt;
and Michael E. Pullom, Findlay; a foster brother,
Roy Barfield, Fostoria; and three sisters, Mrs. William
(Juliana) Lawson and Brenda Anderson, both of
Fostoria, and Mrs. Rev. Henry (Marva "Cookie") Goodwin,
Toledo.
She was preceded in death by two brothers,
Donald and Maurice Pullom.
Mrs. Lincoln-Simms taught at Toledo Head
Start for 15 years, and was president of the teacher's
union. She formerly worked at GE, Toledo Stamping,
and was a supervisor for Kenlight Cleaning Services,
Toledo.
She graduated from Fostoria High School,
attended Columbus Business School, received a Head
Start teaching certificate from Owens Community
College, and graduated from Mutual of Omaha School
of Agents in Philadelphia.
She was a member of First Baptist Church,
Fostoria, and was assistant to the pastor of Day Star
Church, Toledo.

KEIFFER, EDWARD S. Edward S. Keiffer, 44, of Hamilton, died Saturday,
Sept. 28, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1958, in Fostoria, to Carl
and Frances (Chapman) Keiffer. On Feb. 13, 1988, he
married Tammy Ryan in Glastonbury, Conn. She survives
in Hamilton.
Other survivors include: his mother, Frances Keiffer
of Fostoria; a son, Jacob Walker-Keiffer of York,
Pa.; two daughters, Sade Ann and Haley Keiffer, at
home; two brothers, Charles Keiffer of St. Petersburg,
Fla., and David Keiffer of Orlando, Fla.; six sisters,
Mrs. Carol (William) Watson, Mrs. Peggy (Steve) Gebauer,
Mrs. Patricia (Dennis) Hogan, Mrs. Jan (Miles) Reinhard,
all of Fostoria, Robyn Meadows of Lula, Ga., and Mrs.
Julie (David) Goodrick of Canal Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Keiffer.
Mr. Keiffer was employed as an EPA Procurement
Specialist for the OHM/Shaw Group of Cincinnati. He
was a 1977 graduate of Fostoria High School.
Mr. Keiffer received an associate's degree in Civil
Construction at Stark College and a bachelor's degree
in Business Administration from Chadwick University.
Mr. Keiffer was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in
Hamilton and former member of St. Wendelin Catholic
Church in Fostoria. He was a soccer coach for
the recreation department in Hamilton.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria.
Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, where Military
Honors will be conducted by the Joint Veterans Group
of Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at

LEWIS, JOYCE FOSTORIA -- Joyce H. Lewis, 42, of 824 S.
Poplar St., Fostoria, died of natural causes at 12:30
a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, at her brother's
residence in Findlay.
She was born Feb. 27, 1960, in Fostoria
to Lawrence "Larry" and Mary A. (Reinhart) Bergstedt.
Surviving are three sons, David L. and Sean
A. Bergstedt and Greggory S. Lewis II, all of Fostoria;
three daughters, Joy A. Bailey, Fostoria; April
M. Bergstedt and Mary Jean Lewis, both of Rockbridge;
three grandchildren; four brothers, Robert,
Donald and Roger Bergstedt, all of Fostoria; Carl
"Joe" Bergstedt, Findlay; and two sisters, Mrs.
Dave (Rose) Lucius, Tiffin; and Norma Thompson, Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by a brother,
Pete Bergstedt.
Ms. Lewis worked at Exel Logistics, Fostoria.

He was born Sept. 1, 1954, in Toledo to
Lurelle L. and Anna M. (Weiker) Loomis. His mother
survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are a daughter, Ivy L. Loomis,
Clyde; two grandchildren; a brother, Steven R. of
Fostoria; and companion Nell Long, Risingsun.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas
E.
Mr. Loomis was a self-employed building
contractor in the Fostoria area for several years.

He was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Martin to
Edward and Stella (Lowe) Kreager. He married Eva M.
Rathburn on June 20, 1968, and she survives.

Walbridge; Donald and Ronald, both of Genoa; a stepson,
Anthony DeRose, Lima; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
a brother, Richard of Martin; four
sisters, Mrs. Elroy (Agnes) York, Lakewood Ranch, Fla.; Ellen Schulte, Genoa; Mrs. George (Lucille) Gackstetter, Martin; Mrs. Dennis (Barbara) Gadda, Sunbury. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward.
Mr. Kreager was a receptionist at Shore's
Retirement Village, Bradenton, Fla. He retired in
1978 from Hess Cartage.
He was a member of West Bradenton Baptist,
Bradenton, Fla.; Palmetto (Fla.) Elks Lodge; and
Teamsters Union.

KNIGHT, HOWARD ALLEN Former Fostorian
Howard Allen Knight, 75, of 1657 Tomahawk Trace,
Fremont, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 6, 2002, at
the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, following a long
battle of lung disease.
He was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Royal Oak, Mich.
He was a 1944 graduate of Fostoria High School. He
enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 30, 1944, and served
overseas in the Philippine Islands during W.W. II.
On Oct. 19, 1947, he married Joyce Estella Reinhard.
The marriage produced two sons, Charles Allen Knight,
born in 1949 and Christopher John Knight, born in
1952. From 1949-1959, he was a railway mail clerk, where
he sorted mail in transit on passenger trains running
all over North Central United States. In 1959 he founded
H.A. Knight and Son's Masonry Construction Company.
In 1963 he was elected to and served five terms in
the Ohio House of Representatives. From 1968-1991
he founded and operated for 23 years, Knight Insurance
Agency, Inc. From 1973-1977 he taught economics
at the University of Toledo, Scott Park Campus.
In 1982 he was unsuccessful in his bid for candidate
for Ohio State Treasurer. He held numerous licenses,
such as: private pilot (instrument rated), amateur
radio operator (WB8YPB), insurance, real estate auctioneer
and certified life underwriter. At the time
of his death he was still an active partner in Round
Table Homes, a real estate holding company.
During his retirement in Florida he had tutored young
immigrants on how to speak English and to become self-sufficient.
He obtainedhis glider pilot's license and was an adviser
for S.C.O.R.E.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Reinhard) Knight;
two sons, Christopher Knight of Fremont and Charles
Knight of Fostoria; three grandchildren, Sarah, Aaron
and Taylor Knight; and a sister, Lois Baldwin of Atlanta,
Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard
W. and Dorothy (Hale) Knight; and a sister, Elizabeth
Murray.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, Nov.
8, in the Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch
St., Fremont, Ohio.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral
home with the Rev. Mark J. Herzog officiating. Burial
will follow in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be given
to the Catholic Education Development Fund or the
Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
KLAKAMP, BERNARD R. Allied Signal Retiree
A memorial service for Bernard F. Klakamp,
79, formerly of Northview Avenue, Findlay, will
be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Findlay Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses, with Stephen Spangler officiating.
Private burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Sunday at the hall.
Mr. Klakamp died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday,
Nov. 14, 2002, at Blakely Care Center, North Baltimore.
He was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Indianapolis
to Henry Franklin and Mollie (Gift) Klakamp. He married
Carroll M. Stanley on June 21, 1947, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Stanley F.
of Bowling Green; and Bryan A. of Findlay; six grandchildren;
and a sister, Eva May Absher, Anderson, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn
Heath.
Mr. Klakamp retired from Allied Signal (now
Honeywell), Fostoria. He previously worked for Buckeye
Ready Cut Homes and for Power and Light Co. and Western
Electric, Indianapolis.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War
II, serving from 1943-48 in TEC 4 Signal Corps and
Army Reserves.
He was a member of Findlay Kingdom Hall
of Jehovah's Witnesses.

married Ronald J. Kraylek on July 4, 1960, in
Risingsun, and he survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Craig Cole,
and R. Jay, Scott and Ronald "Bosco" Kraylek Jr.,
all of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Shawn (Ronna)
Russell, Fostoria; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild;
a brother, Robert Charles Sherlock, Fostoria;
and a sister, Marilyn Louise Hitchings, Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by a brother,
William Winfield Sherlock.
Mrs. Kraylek retired in 2001 as a habilitation
specialist at VOCA Home in Fostoria after 13 years.

LEHMANN, ELIZABETH ANN Mother of Fostorian
Elizabeth Ann Lehmann, 91, formerly of Risingsun,
died 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in St. Catherine's
Care Center in Fostoria.
She was born Nov. 23, 1911, in West Millgrove,
to Thomas and Floy (Michener) Sawyer. She married
Leo J. Lehmann Aug.18, 1932, in Millersville. He died
Nov. 23, 1991.
Surviving are: a son, Richard Lehmann of Fostoria;
four daughters, Barbara Moor of Bradner, Donna Pesch
of Chardon, Joann Kemenah of Risingsun and Eileen
(Susie) Hiser of Butler, IN; 10 grandchildren and
16 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday
in St.Wendelin Catholic Church, where a Rosary will
be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's
Parish Cemetery in Millersville.

KAMMEYER, MARGARET R. Margaret R. Kammeyer, 58, of Gromley St., Fostoria,
died 9:35 p.m. Tuesday at Toledo Hospital.
She was born Oct. 9, 1944, in Fostoria, to Franklin
and Virginia (Wilhelm) Snyder. She first married Richard
Blackburn and they were divorced. She then married
Bradley Kammeyer on Dec. 17, 1984 in Fostoria.
He survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are: two daughters Sheri and Elizabeth
Blackburn, both of Fostoria; step-father, Robert Appel
of Fostoria; two brothers, Michael Appel of Columbus
and David Appel of Fostoria; two sisters, Gail Reinhard
and Ruth Ann Appel, both of Fostoria and a grandchild.

KISSLING, ROY C. Roy C. Kissling, 88, formerly of East Fremont
Street, Fostoria, died at 4:37 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9,
2002 at Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born Oct. 9, 1914 in Sandusky County
to Arthur and Edith (Zimmerman) Kissling. He married
Doryce J. Humbert on Oct. 10, 1936 in Bettsville,
and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gene
(Anita) Meili, Tiffin; and Mrs. Joe (Eva Lynn) Fruchey,
Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald;
a sister, Ethel Grimes; and two brothers, Wilfred
and Raymond.
Mr. Kissling retired in 1979 as the owner
and operator of Roy's Shoe Repair in Fostoria after
more than 40 years.
He was a 1932 graduate of Jackson High School
in Amsden.
He was a member of Grace United Church of
Christ and VFW Championship Band, where he played
the clarinet, both in Fostoria; and was past master
of Lodge 288 F&AM, past illustrious master of
Council 90 and past high priest of Chapter 60, all
in Fostoria.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.
Thursday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria,
the Rev. Larry Miracle officiating. Burial will
be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday
and an hour before services Thursday at the funeral
home, where a Masonic memorial service will be held
at 7 p.m. Thursday.

KUBASEK, EVELYN Evelyn Lee Kubasek, 79, of 8100 County Road
59, Carey, formerly of Fostoria, died at 3:40
a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002 at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1923 in Fostoria to
Lee and Virginia (Hampshire) Dixon. She married Charles
Maxwell Jurrus Sr., and they divorced. She then married
Verl J. Kubasek on June 25, 1960, and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, C. Max Jurrus
Jr., Findlay; two daughters, Kris Kubasek and Mrs.
Terry (Kelly) Hill, both of Carey; and eight
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, LaDonna
Hummel.
Mrs. Kubasek was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She attended Fostoria High School.
Private graveside services will be held
at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, the Rev. Joseph Searfoss
officiating.
