William D. Lynch Sr., 71, of 1300
Bernard Ave., Findlay, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30,
2000, in the Emergency Room at Blanchard Valley Regional Health
Center, Findlay.
He was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Findlay,
to Clarence and Lydia (Riker) Lynch. On April 4, 1953, he married
Fern L. Phillips. She died July 23, 1997.
Survivors include: six sons, William
D. Lynch Jr. of Maybank, Texas, Lawrence L. "Larry" Lynch of
Dunkirk, Albert B. and Robert Lynch, both of Findlay, James
P. Lynch of Hampton, Va. and Raymond Robinson, also of Findlay;
three daughters, Mrs. Francis (Dawn M.) Businger Weiker of Fostoria,
Mrs. Fred (Loretta L.) Bingle of Fremont and Mrs. Michael (Mary
M.) Hoopman of rural Findlay; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren;
and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Laura) Hartley and Mrs. Glenn
(Annabelle) Gobrecht, both of Findlay.
A sister, Marguerite Gobrecht;
and a brother, Thomas Lynch, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Lynch, a retired taxi cab driver,
served in the U.S. Army.
The Rev. Scott Salee will be the
officiant at the 11 a.m. Thursday service in the Coldren-Crates
Funeral Home, Findlay. Interment will be in Bright Cemetery,
Marion Township.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday
at the funeral home.

Former rural Fostoria resident
Michael B. Kuhn, 60, of 204 S.
Robinson Drive, Oak Harbor, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at his
residence.
He was born Sept. 17, 1940, in
Fostoria, to the late Clarence L. and Evelyn E. (Bigham) Kuhn.
His wife, Roselyn J. (Finsel) Kuhn, whom he married Aug. 26,
1961, in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, survives in
Oak Harbor.
Other survivors include: three
daughters, Mrs. Michael (Jennifer L.) Canning of Temperance,
Mich., Natalie L. Kuhn of Pickerington and Mrs. Kevin (Angela
E.) Dalton of Toledo; a son, Timothy M. Kuhn of Oak Harbor;
two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Mr. Kuhn, a 1958 graduate of St.
Wendelin High School, Fostoria, retired from Webster Industries,
Tiffin.
A member of St. Boniface Catholic
Church, Oak Harbor, he had attended the University of Dayton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will
be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Wendelin Catholic Church,
with the Rev. Daniel J. Ring officiating. The rosary will be
prayed at the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in
the parish cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today in
the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christian wake service
will be at 8:30 p.m.

Luidhardt, Carl
K.
Retired Decker employee
Carl K. Luidhardt, 70, of 42 Douglas
St., died at 2:48 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, in the St. Vincent
Mercy Medical Center of Toledo.
Mr. Luidhardt was born Aug. 16,
1930, in Seneca County to Otto and Addie Velma (Brown) Luidhardt.
He married Doris L. "Dolly" Nye on Sept. 6, 1953, in Tiffin
and she survives.
Also surviving are: three sons,
Steven Carl and Gary A. of Tiffin, and Jeffrey L. of Apache
Junction, Ariz.; five grandchildren; three sisters, Kathleen
Winters and Ruth Boyer of Tiffin, and Miriam Reed of Fostoria.
He served in the U.S. Air Force
during the Korean Conflict from Jan. 1951-Dec. 1954; worked
37 years for Deckers Furniture as a carpet installer, delivery
man and salesman; a member of the First Lutheran Church, United
Commercial Travelers; enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie, playing
cards and the outdoors; and was an avid Cleveland Browns and
Indians fan.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m.
Monday in the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home with the Rev.
Margaret Marks officiating. Military graveside service will
be conducted by the United Veterans Council in the Greenlawn
Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-7
p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Lowell K.
Former Fostoria Resident
Lowell K. Litton, 64, of Central
Valley Rd., Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Fostoria, died
on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center
in Murfreesboro. He was born Jan. 23, 1937 to Floyd and Katie
(Faulkner) Litton, both are deceased. On June 4, 1961 he married
Nancy Landers in Fostoria, and she survives.
Other survivors include: a son,
Lowell K. Litton, Jr., of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three daughters,
Wendy Kiehl of Russellville, Ark, Carol Seale of Smyrna, Tenn.,
and Tina Flanagan of Fostoria; a brother, Merle Litton of Risingsun;
six sisters, Mrs. Rachel Dissauer of Risingsun, Mrs. Doris Harrah
of Little Hocking, OH., Mrs. Linda Jeffers of New Haven, W.
VA., Ms. Rita Riedel of Helena, OH., Mrs. Jeannette Bloemer
of Amsden, OH., and Mrs. Patricia Himes of Dallas, Tex.; four
grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Mr. Litton was a U.S. Marine
Veteran and a mechanic at Transcor of America in Nashville,
Tennessee. He was an avid race car driver known as L-21 in N.W.
Ohio.
The Rev. Ivan Schwenn will officiate
the 10 a.m. Saturday funeral services at St. Paul's United Methodist
Church in Risingsun. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery near
Arcadia.
There are no visitation hours.

Charles F., Jr.
Funeral services for Charles F. King Jr., 67, of 10234 W. U.S.
224, Alvada, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mann-Hare Funeral
Home, Fostoria, the Rev. James Ritchie officiating. Burial will
be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, where military rites
will be conducted by United Veterans of Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. today and two hours before services Wednesday at
the funeral home.
Mr. King died at 4:33 p.m. Sunday,
March 4, 2001 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
He was born July 19, 1933 in Tiffin
to Charles F. and Magaret (Schafer) King Sr., and his mother
survives in Attica. He married Donna June Damon on April 17,
1954 in Angola, Ind., and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons,
Bernard and Scott, both of Alvada; Kelly of Bowling Green; a
daughter, Mrs. Rod (Kathi) Blakey, Amherst; two grandchildren;
five step-grandchildren; a brother, Stewart, of Fostoria, and
three sisters, Mrs. Tom (geraldine) McLaughlin, Spring Hill,
Fla.; Mrs. Ron (Pat) Tuttle, Fostoria; and Marlene Lehner, Attica.
He was preceded in death by three
brothers, John, Michael and Robert.
Mr. King retired in 1996 after
33 years as a self-employed truck driver for King & Son Trucking.
He served in the U.S. Army during
the Korean War.
He graduated in 1951 from Arcadia
High School.
Mr. King was a member of Shuffles
and Ruffles Western Square Dance Club, Findlay; and Square Campers
Dancing and Don's Advanced clubs, both of Fostoria. He attended
St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria and Arcadia United
Methodist Church.

Clarence A. Knox, 85, of 412 Independence
Ave., Fostoria, died Thursday morning, March 8, 2001 at his
residence.
He was born March 8, 1916 in Fostoria
to Thomas H. and Augusta L. (Cox) Knox. He married Lucille A.
Kelbley on May 22, 1943 in Neosho, Mo., and she died Aug. 8,
1990.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Richard (Sherry) McClellan, Fostoria; two grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Clayton (Augusta) Wolf,
Fostoria.
He was preceded in death by six
brothers, Thomas, Dick, Harvey, Bob, Albert and Morris; and
four sisters, Mary Reeder and Anna, Sarah and Della Knox.
Mr. Knox retired in 1980 from Atlas
Crankshaft, Fostoria. He also was a carpenter.
Her served in the U.S. Army Air
Corps during World War II.
He was a 1938 graduate of Fostoria
High School.
Mr. Knox was a member of St. Wendelin
Catholic Church in Fostoria; Eagles Aerie 430; Elks Lodge 935;
and Tiffin Moose Lodge 846. He was a Third Degree Knight of
Columbus, Fostoria.
A Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will
be in the parish cemetery, where military rites will be conducted
by United Veterans of Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where
a Christian wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. A rosary

KESSLER,
CHARLES, JR.
Charles Kessler Jr., 66, of 884
Columbus Ave., Fostoria, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 17,
2001, in the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
He was born Dec. 2, 1934, in Seneca
County, to the late Charles and Hazel (Williams) Kessler. His
wife, Mary Ellen (Podach) Kessler, whom he married Feb. 5, 1955,
in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Michael and Jacob Kessler, both of Fostoria; six daughters,
Mrs. Jerald (Susan) Tiell of Fostoria, Mrs. David (Jane) Gore
of Chandler, Ariz., Mrs. Michael (Rosann) Arbogast, Mrs. Thomas
(Deborah) Tiell and Mrs. Gregory (Diane) Arbogast, all of Tiffin
and Mrs. Jeffrey (Marlene) Burns of Arcadia; 26 grandchildren
and six great- grandchildren; three brothers, George Kessler
of Republic, Ramond Kessler of New Riegel and Gerald Kessler
of Fostoria; and three sisters, Mrs. Robert(Martha) Haubert
of Alvada, Rita Lafontaine and Annabelle Hemminger, both of
New Riegel.
Also preceding him in death were:
a granddaughter, Tomi Maria Tiell; a brother, Richard Kessler
and an infant sister, Norma Jean Kessler.
Mr. Kessler retired in 1997 as
owner and operator of Kessler Electric in Fostoria and Port
Clinton, after 30 years of service. He also was a pork producer
for more than 25 years.
He was a member of St. Patrick
Catholic Church, Bascom, 3rd Degree K of C Council 1197-Fostoria,
New Riegel Moose Lodge, Fostoria Eagles and the Seneca County
Farm Bureau.
A former member of Nugents Yacht
Club, Port Clinton, he enjoyed fishing and gardening and had
been the recipient of a Home Beautification Award.
A Mass of Christian Burial will
be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with
the Rev. Art Niewiadomski as celebrant. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery, Bascom.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today and
9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.
A Christian wake service will take place at 8:45 p.m.Monday
at the funeral home.

KELLEY,
FRANK R., JR.
Frank R. Kelley Jr., 75, of 1621
S. Byrne Road, Toledo, and formerly of Fostoria, died at 2:20
a.m. Friday, March 23, 2001 at Foundation Park Care Center,
Toledo.
He was born May 11, 1925 in Findlay
to Frank R. and Gladys Marie (Seeds) Kelley Sr. He married Evelyn
Shirk, and they divorced.
Surviving are a son, Gregg D. of
Columbus, Ind.; a daughter, Sue A. Woodland, Philadelphia, Pa.;
and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two
brothers, Malcolm Kelley and William F. Beck.
Mr. Kelley operated Kelley's Paint
& Supply in Fostoria for 10 years. He also was the executive
director of HHWP, Findlay, for 15 years, and was a counselor
for various drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers in the Toledo
area for the past 10 years.
He graduated from Fostoria High
School and Ohio State University.
Mr. Kelley was a member of Collingwood
Presbyterian Church, Toledo; and Elks 935 and American Legion,
both of Fostoria.
He was past president of Fostoria
Kiwanis Club and a past member of First Presbyterian Church,
Fostoria. He also had been a scoutmaster.
Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Monday at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev.
R. Edson Reed officiating. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery,
Fostoria, where military rites will be conducted by United Veterans
of Fostoria.
Visitation will be held an hour
before services Monday at the church.

RAYLENE V.
Graveside services for Raylene
V. Kinney, 80, formerly of Fostoria, will be held at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, Wood County, the
Rev. Betty Wineland officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Kinney died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday,
March 24, 2001 at her son's residence in Walbridge.
She was born April 29, 1920 in
Bairdstown to Melvin and Edna (Mincks) Kinney.
Surviving are a son, Gary L. of
Walbridge; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a
brother, Ronnie Kinney, Toledo; and two sisters, Gertrude Shaffer
and Ruth Yantis, both of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by a
brother, Marion Kinney.
Mrs. Kinney retired in 1978 after
30 years as an assembler at Allied Signal, Fostoria.
She graduated in 1938 from Cygnet
High School.

LUCIA T.
Lucia T. "Lucy" Kiebel, 87, formerly
of 316 W. Center St., Fostoria, died Sunday, April 1, 2001,
at St. Catherine's Care Center.
She was born December 12, 1913
in Chicago, to Adam and Theresa (Pencala) Korczyk. On August
4,1934, in Chicago, she married J. Nicholas Kiebel. He died
August 31, 1963.
Survivors include a son, John C.
Kiebel of Minneapolis, five daughters, Mrs. Dale B. (Theresa)
Heilman of Fostoria, Mrs. Robert M. (Patricia) Beecher of West
Newton, Mass., Mrs. James E. (Judith)Newcomer of Columbus, Mrs.
Ron (Margaret "Peg") Daignault of Edina, Minn., and Mrs. Robert
(Irene "Rene") Stump of Maumee; a sister, Emilia "Emily" Sidor
of Chicago, 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are three
brothers, Aloysius, Constantine and Maximillian Korczyk.
Mrs. Kiebel, a homemaker, was a
receptionist for the former Commercial Bank and First National
Bank, and was employed by the Fostoria License Bureau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will
take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Wendelin Church, Fostoria.
Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Mr. Kessler died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday,
April 19, 2001, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born Jan. 26, 1942, in
Amsden to Charles J. and Hazel B. (Williams) Kessler Sr. He
married Karen Sue Bentz on July 13, 1963, in New Riegel, and
they divorced.
Survivors include a son, Brian
of Carey; two daughters, Mrs. Jason (Laura) Walters, Cincinnati;
and Mrs. James (Kristine) Wise, Tiffin; five grandchildren;
two brothers, George J. of Republic; and Raymond A. of New Riegel;
and three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Martha T.) Haubert, Alvada;
and Rita M. Lafontaine and Annabelle M. Hemminger, both of New
Riegel.
He was preceded in death by two
brothers, Richard A. and Charles J. Jr.; and an infant sister,
Norma Jean Kessler.
Mr. Kessler retired after working
30 years for Atlas Inc., Fostoria
He was a member of Fostoria Council
1197 Knights of Columbus Third Degree; Fostoria Eagles Club
Aerie 430; Fostoria United Sportsman Club; Loyal Order of the
Moose Lodge 872, New Riegel; and AMVETS Post 69, Fostoria. He
was a social member of American Legion Post 840 and VFW Post
421, both in Fostoria.
He was a 1960 graduate of New Riegel
High School.

Michelle K. LaFountaine-Adams,
41, of Arcadia, died at 4:50 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2001, at
her mother's home in Fostoria.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1960,
in Fostoria, to Richard and Jane (Siegchrist) LaFountaine. On
Nov. 24, 1979, she married Tod Correll, and they divorced. On
Dec. 31, 1997 she married Scott Adams and he survives.
Survivors also include: her mother
and step father, Jane and Robert Fishpaw of Fostoria, three
sons, Nicholas Correll of Bowling Green, and Adam and Zachary,
both of Arcadia; a daughter, Laura Correll of Fostoria, four
sisters, Mrs. Alan (Renee) Theis of Lake Forest, Calif., Mrs.
Greg (Nadine) Schreiner, Stacy LaFountaine, both of Fostoria,
and Mrs. Scott (Cara) Nighswander of Toledo.
Deceased are her father, Richard
LaFountaine.
Mrs. Adams was a sales associate
at Readmore Gifts in Fostoria.
She was a member of St. Wendelin
Catholic Church in Fostoria, and a 1978 graduate of Arcadia
High School.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30
a.m., Tuesday, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Burial will
take place at Knollcrest Cemetery near Arcadia.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m., Monday,
at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria, with an 8:30

Joe Richard Kirk, 75, of 4761
Tahiti Drive, Bonita Springs, Fla., and Findlay, died at 1:26
a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2001, in Lee Memorial Health Systems
Hospital, Fort Myers, Fla.
He was born Nov. 25, 1925, in
Fostoria, to Roland and Beckham Gobel (Bond) Kirk. On July 1,
1950, in Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria, he married
Beverly A. Flechtner, who survives in Bonita Springs.
Survivors also include: a son,
Joe R. Kirk II of Findlay; two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Jenny A.)
Murphy of Findlay and Mary J. KIrk of Marysville; two brothers,
Robert W. Kirk of Findlay and David B. Kirk of Alexandria, Va.;
a sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Rolda) Holden of Eau Clair, Wis.; and
four grandchildren.
A 1943 graduate of Fostoria High
School, he attended Miami University, Oxford, for two years.
Mr. Kirk retired in 1990 as operations
manager from O.H. Materials Corp. in Findlay, after 20 years
of employment.
He also worked for Autolite in
Fostoria for eight years; Standard Products in Port Clinton
for more than 16 years; G & W Engineering in Pontiac, Mich.,
for five years; and was self-employed with J & M Sports Center,
Grand Traverse Sports and Varsity Sports, all in Traverse City,
Mich.
A World War II U.S. Navy veteran,
having served 1943-46, he was a member of the National Guard,
Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria; Fostoria Lodge 288
Free and Accepted Masons, Council 26, Chapter 72 and Commandery
23, all of Sandusky; Elks Lodge 1718, Port Clinton; and the
Fostoria Exchange Club.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening
and spending time with his grandchildren.
The Rev. Branson J. Hawkes will
conduct the 10:30 a.m. Wednesday service in Wesley United Methodist
Church. Interment will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, where
military graveside rites will be conducted by the United Veterans
of Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Tuesday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, where
Masonic memorial services will take place at 7 p.m.

Dorothy Ann Kimes, 79, of Good
Shepherd Nursing Home in Fostoria, died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday,
June 16, 2001, at the nursing home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1921, in
DeKaub County, Ind., to Terry and Pearle (Hoffman) Worman, and
both are deceased. On May 3, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she
married Charles E. Kimes, and he died Sept. 8, 1997.
Survivors include: a son, Elery
Kimes of Belleville, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Eloise) Knox
of Fostoria; three brothers, George Worman of Coldwater, Mich.,
Lewis Worman of Albion, Ind., and Richard Worman of Butler,
Ind., a sister, Betty Laux of Winslow, Ariz.; four grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren.
A brother, Wayne Worman, a daughter,
Mary Ann Kimes, and a sister, Cora Bauman, are deceased.
Mrs. Kimes was a 1939 graduate
of Spencerville High School in Spencerville, Ind., was a homemaker
and a member of DeLeon Springs United Methodist Church in LeLeon,
Fla.
Services will take place at 1:30

Robert R. Kotnik, 75, of Bascom,
died Monday, July 16, 2001, at Fostoria City Hospital.
He was born Jan. 1, 1926 in Cleveland,
to James and Elsie (Spiegel) Kotnik. They are deceased. He married
Esther M. Brickner on Nov. 25, 1954, in St. Patrick Catholic
Church in Bascom.
Survivors include six sons: Allan
R. of Fostoria, Robert T. of Bascom, David J. of Tiffin, Richard
E. of Sylvania, Douglas P. of Dayton, and Donald P. of Canton;
a daughter, Mrs. James (Michelle A.) Arbogast of Toledo; a brother,
James Kotnik of Euclid; and 13 grandchildren.
Mr. Kotnik graduated from Cleveland
East Tech H.S. and from Heidelberg College in Tiffin. He was
an independent insurance agent, a WW II Army Air Corp. veteran.
He memberships include the New
Riegel American Legion Post 354, he was also active in the Bascom
Little League, and a member, lector and communion distributor
at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bascom.
Services will take place at 10:30
a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bascom, with Fr.
Frank Murd officiating. A rosary will be prayed at 10:15a.m.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the New Riegel
American Legion Members at the church cemetery. Visitation is
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home
in Tiffin.

MARLA A.
Marla A. Kline, 64, of Main Street,
Risingsun, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at Independence
House, Fostoria.
She was born Aug. 5, 1936 in Bradner
to Clarence M. and M. Irene (Stahl) Cox, and her mother survives
in Risingsun. She married Nolan M. Kline on March 23, 1956 at
Scott-Trinity Methodist Church, near Risingsun, and he survives.
Also surviving are three sons,
Gregory N. and Jonathan L., both of Risingsun; and Jeffrey P.
of Richmond Heights; three daughters, Jennifer L. Kessler, Helena;
Jo Ellen Jacquot, Risingsun; and Mrs. David (Lori A.) Bankey,
Cleburne, Texas; seven grandchildren; a brother, James Cox,
Risingsun; and a sister, Bonnie Thaxton, Fostoria.
Mrs. Kline retired in 1992 after
30 years at the former Allied Automotive Corp. (Honeywell).
She was a member of Scott-Trinity
United Methodist Church and Risingsun Fire Department Ladies
Auxiliary.
She was a 1954 graduate of Risingsun
High School.
Funeral services will be held at

the Rev. Gus Christo-Baker officiating. Burial will be in Trinity
Cemetery, Scott Township, near Risingsun.

Eulalia R. Lonsway, 95, of Wyandot
County Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky and formerly of Carey,
died at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001, in the nursing home.
She was born Jan. 13, 1906, in
Fostoria, to Nicholas and Veronica (Snyder) Lamberjack. She
married C. Raymond Lonsway at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey
on Feb. 26, 1924. He died Jan. 29, 1972.
Survivors include: two sons, Paul
G. and James B. Lonsway of Carey; two daughters, Mildred E.
Franz of Upper Sandusky and Mrs. Ralph (Rosemary) Pratt of Carey;
two sisters, Mary Vitale of Cleveland Heights and Blanche Shultz
of Fostoria; 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 17 grat-great
grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 5 step-great grandchildren.
Two sons, Eugene and R. W. "Bill"
Lonsway; five brothers, Raymond, Gerald, Bob, Otto and Carl
Lamberjack; and four sisters, Hilda Ruffing, Inez Frey, Dorothy
Payment and Sister Mary Agatha Lamberjack; two grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren are deceased.
Mrs. Lonsway was a member of the
Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, the Rosary Altar
Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the former PRS Club
in Carey. She bowled in Carey in several leagues.
A Mass of Christian burial will
be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation
in Carey with the Rev. Benjamin Knopp, OFM. Conv., officiating.

John "Crazy John" Lenz, 68, of
West Lytle St., Fostoria, died at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, Aug.
1, 2001 at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born April 26,
1933 to Ray and Helen (Hoepf) Lenz. On July 4, 1992 he married
Ruth A. Plummer-Byerly, and she survives.
Other survivors include: a son,
Jason Lenz of Fostoria; four daughters, Diana Lenz, Cherie Lenz
and Tina Lenz, all of Toledo and Sandra Reinhart of Fostoria,
a stepson, Ed Byerly of Portage; five step daughters, Linda
Roeber of Rawson, Karen Gibbs of Republic, Kristy Heldman of
Pandora, Kathy Smith and Tammy Dean of Fostoria, a brother,
David Cowgill of Crestline; eight grandchildren, 23 step grandchildren
and 18 step great grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
Mr. Lenz was a 1951 graduate of
Calvert High School in Tiffin, he retired in 1995 as a self-employed
painter and mechanic. His memberships included Faith Tabernacle
Pentecostal Church of God in Fostoria and Fostoria Eagles Club
430. He was also a 1954 Golden Gloves Boxing Champion in Toledo
and W. Virginia.
The Rev. Donald Goodwin will officiate
the 11 a.m. Saturday funeral service at the Harrold-Floriana
Funeral Home.

Carol S. Kraylek, 58, of 637 Maple
St., died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 20, 1942 in Fostoria,
to Robert and Hazel M. (Hopkins) Clark, and both are deceased.
She married Robert Thompson and he died in 1980. She then married
Jim C. Kraylek on Dec. 28, 1990 in Fostoria and he survives
in Fostoria.
Survivors also include: a son,
Steven R. Thompson of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy
(Laura) Rega of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Robin (Lisa) Hughes of Middleville,
Mich., a step-daughter, Mrs. James (Lisa) Siebenaller of Fostoria;
a sister, Myrtle Mason of Troy, and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Kraylek was a Custodian at
Fostoria High School and retired in 1995. She was a graduate
of Fremont Ross High School.

was born Jan. 22, 1926 in Johnson County, Ky., to the late
Harlen and Samantha (May) Conley. She married Ernest Litton
on Feb. 17, 1942. He died Aug. 12, 1964. She later married
William J. Carper on March 9, 1980. He died in Dec. 1980.
Survivors
include: two sons, Sam Litton of Bowling Green and Larry Litton
of Fostoria; four daughters, Mrs. Dale (Sue) Stevens of McCutchenville,
Mrs. Ron (Faye) Park of Fostoria, Mrs. Steve (Judy) Frederick
and Ms. Cathy Dolch, both of Carey; a sister, Beulan Salyer
of Carey; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He
was born May 16, 1919, in Moosejaw, Canada, to Gregory M.
and Agnes (Ward) Lynch and they are deceased. He married
Virginia R. Pahl on Nov. 3, 1943 in Carey, and she survives.

Ohio, Gregory C. and Daniel M. Lynch, both of Carey; a daughter,
Mrs. Perry (Patricia A.) Hoffman of Findlay; a brother,

She was preceded in death by two sisters,
Evelyn Everhardt and Elaine Peterson; and a brother, Clyde
Taylor.
Mrs. Litzenberg retired in 1991 from RCA
after 37 years.

Elsie M. Koons, 72, of Fostoria, died at
8:20 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001 at the Toledo Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1929, in Sycamore to
the late Russell R. and Mildred E. (Clingman) Riedel. She
married Norman F. Koons on Feb. 20, 1950 in the First Evangelical
Church of Christ, Fostoria. He survives in Fostoria.
Survivors also include: a son, David L.
Koons of Fostoria; two daughters, Mrs. James (Norma J.)
Button of Spring Lake, N.C., Denise M. Durst of Fostoria;
two sisters, Elma F. Ankney and Delores I. Hushour of Sycamore;
five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death include a brother,
William C. Riedel.
Mrs. Koons was employed for 11 years at
Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co., in Bloomdale.

Anna Mae Koepfer, 86, 35 year resident of
Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Fostoria, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday,
Sept. 19, 2001 at Tucson Medical Cener. She was born July
23, 1915 to Daniel H. and Theresa (Welly) Nye. On May 20,
1939 she married Norman M. Koepfer. He died Jan. 19, 1981.
Surviving include: a son, William N. Koepfer
of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Michael A. Stilb of Tucson,
Ariz.; a brother, Justin Nye of Fostoria; three grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.
Preceded in death were: a brother, Leonard
Nye; three sisters, Virginia Conaway, Lucille Stein and
Alice Omlor-Durkin.
Mrs. Koepfer was a homemaker and member
of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tucson, a 1934 graduate
of St. Wendelin High School and Charter member Fostoria
Emblem Club 213.

Robert M. Lynch, 85 years old, formerly
of Bettsville, died Wednesday morning Oct. 3, 2001, at St.
Claire Medical Center in Crawfordsville, IN. He had been
living with his son and daughter-in-law in Crawfordsville
since Aug. 5, 2000.
He was born Dec. 27, 1915, to Warren P.
and Eurie Lynch. His wife of 62 years, M. VonDale (Baker)
Lynch, whom he married April 27, 1936, is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, R. Edward Lynch
of Sebring, FL and Larry L. Lynch of Crawfordsville, IN.
Three brothers, Richard of Mesa, AZ, Jack E. of Fostoria,
OH and William R. of Covington, KY. Five sisters, Alice
M. Bushman of Rockford, IL; Beulah Dunn of Springfield,
MO, Hazel Hansen of Gibsonburg, Jean Lutz of Old Fort, Shirley
Burkhart of Bettsville; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A son, Thomas, and an infant sister are
deceased.
Mr. Lynch was an ordained minister and served
as a Lay Minister from Feb. 9, 1977. He was a Sunday School
teacher and held many offices at Salem United Methodist
Church. He worked at Basic from 1935 until he retired in
1978, and also was a member of the Basic Quarter Century
Club. He was a member of golf leagues at Nature Trails and
bowled in Tiffin and Fremont.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday
morning at the Salem United Methodist Church in Bettsville
with Pastor J. Mac Geissinger officiating.
Friends may call Friday from 4-9 p.m. at
the Engle Funeral Home of Bettsville. Burial will be at

Ellen Lang, 69, of Bascom died at 11:30
a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 13, 1932, in Morehead,
Ky., to the late Roscoe and Lula (Howard) Atkins. She married
Raymond Land on June 30, 1951 in Carey. He died Dec. 5,2000.
Survivors include: three sons, Bruce R.
Lang of Tiffin, Mark A. Lang of Fostoria, and Christopher
L. Lang of Bascom; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Suzette) Baker
of Fostoria; three brothers, Avery Atkins of Pomplin, Va.,

76, of Morganfield, Ky., and formerly of Fostoria, will

Mrs. Lambright died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday,
Nov. 1, 2001, at Methodist Hospital, Henderson, Ky.
She was born Sept. 6, 1925, in Findlay to
William and Cleo (Stein) Hunt. She married Carl M. Lambright
on Jan. 17, 1948, in Fostoria, and he died July 9, 1991.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Witten,
Morganfield, Ky.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
and two sisters, Virginia Matthews, Tiffin; and Rosalie
Haneberg, Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by a brother,
John Hunt.
Mrs. Lambright retired as an inspector from
Autolite (now Honeywell).
She was a member of Fostoria Baptist Church.

"Herb" Lowery, 83, of 651 Broadway, Fostoria, will be celebrated

Mr. Lowery died at 11:40 p.m. Thursday,
Nov. 8, 2001, at Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born March 19, 1918, in Fostoria
to Cletus and Susan Irene (Snauffer) Lowery. He married
Genevieve A. "Ginger" Janulewicz on Oct. 26, 1943, and she
died March 11, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Michael C. of Columbus,
Ind.; a daughter, Mary Anne Harr, Fostoria; nine grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; a brother, James of Findlay; and
three sisters, Ginny Bohring, Mae Clinker and Sandy Thompson,
all of Fostoria.
He was preceded in death by a son, Edwin
James; two brothers, Harry and Ch arles; and three sisters,
Louie Brown, Marge Ward and Dorothy Rohm.
Mr. Lowery retired in 1982 from Union Carbide,
Fostoria, after 43 years. He had been a part-time projectionist
at the State Theater and Fostoria Drive-In.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of
World War II.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic
Church, Moose Lodge 1567, Eagles Aerie 430, VFW Post 421
and American Legion Post 73, all in Fostoria; and Rhythm
Rascals band and Fostoria orchestra.
He was a 1937 graduate of Fostoria High
School.

Henrietta B. Keller, 88, of Bradner, died
at 9:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at St. Catherine's Care
Center, Fostoria.
She was born March 19, 1913, in Bradner
to Fred and Henrietta May (Bower) Blessing. She married
Merritt Olin Keller on July 23, 1942, and he died Jan. 31,
1980.
Surviving are a son, Ned of Johnson, N.Y.;
two daughters, Mrs. James (Sue) Calcamuggio, Owatonna, Minn.;
Mrs. Phillip (Marla) Holmes, Fostoria; 10 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; a brother, Olin D. Blessing, Inverness,
Fla.; two sisters, Helen Knepper, Bradner; H. Ione Blessing,
Monroe.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild;
two sisters, Loretta Smith and Catherine Roberta Blessing;
and a brother, Harland F. Blessing.
Mrs. Keller retired as a librarian and Latin
and English teacher at Elmwood High School after more than
40 years in education. She also worked at Wayne High School,
Bradner Public Library and Bradner High School.
She was a member of Christian Missionary
Alliance Church, Bowling Green; Wood County Genealogical
Society; and Ohio Retired Teachers Association.
She was a 1929 graduate of Bradner High
School.

Paul Richard Lang, 81, of 101 Wall St.,
Tiffin, died at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at
Autumnwood Care Center.
He was born Aug. 23, 1920, in Tiffin, to
the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Seidler) Lang.He married
Mary Jane Berrier on May 10, 1947 in St. Mary Catholic Church
and she survives.
Survivors include: two sons, James (Marla)
Lang and Mark Lang both of Tiffin; three daughters, Mrs.
Jeff (Marsha) Danhoff of Willard, Mrs. David (Debra) Kuhn
of Fostoria and Mrs. Ken (Rose( Zoeller of Tiffin; and 15
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph
Lang and a grandson, Daniel Kuhn.
Mr. Lange was a 1938 Columbian High School
graduate and a 1942 Tiffin University graduate.
He served in the U.S. Army during World
War II, and he received the Good Conduct Medal. He retired
after 23 years as a cost accountant at Allied Signal in
Fostoria.
He was a member and volunteer of St. Mary
Catholic Church in Tiffin and a member of the American Legion
Post 354 in New Riegel.
The rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m.
Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church followed by a funeral
mass at 10 a.m. The Rev. Frank Murd will be the officiant.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery with graveside military
rites conducted by the United Veterans Council.

KRUPP, CLEO
Cleo May Krupp, 92, of St. Catherine's Care
Center, Fostoria, and formerly of Main Street, died at 12:50
a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at Fostoria Community Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1909, in Tiffin to
George and Cleo (Drenner) Allis. She married Paul H. Krupp
on July 11, 1931, in Fostoria, and he died Jan. 26, 1999.
Surviving are two sons, David of Fostoria;
and Nathan of Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Janet Therriault,
Fostoria; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Mrs. Krupp was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Church of the
Nazarene, Fostoria.
She was a 1927 graduate of Fostoria High
School.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Friday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Revs.
Russell Gumm and Robert Chew officiating. Burial will be
in Fountian Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday
at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First Church of
the Nazarene or to a charity of the donor's choice.
KECKLER, TERRY LEE
Terry Lee Keckler, 46, Bradenton, Fla.,
died at 3 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 6, 1955, in Fostoria to
Claude and Viola (Hunt) Keckler and both are deceased. His
wife Fay (Tetrick) Keckler survives in Bradenton, Fla.
Survivors also include: two sons, Christopher
Keckler of Longbeach, Miss., and Shawn Levering of Nelsonville;
a stepson, Dan Tetrick of Bradenton, FL, a daughter, Jamie
Keckler of Sarasota, FL, three brothers, Kenneth Keckler
of Risingsun, Ronald Keckler of Findlay and Tim Keckler
of Bradenton, FL; and four grandchildren.
Services took place on Dec. 18, 2001, at
the Palma Sola Community Church in Bradenton, Fla. Graveside
Committal services will be at 11am Friday, Dec. 28, 2001,
at Kansas Cemetery, rural Kansas, Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Larry
Knigga will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria
