Frank J. Hampshire, 75, of State
Street, Fostoria, died in Fostoria Community Hospital at 8:45
a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998.
He was born in Fostoria, Sept.
11, 1922, to Frank G. and Nora (Kooken) Hampshire. On Dec. 9,
1945, in Risingsun, he married Mary A. Limes. She survives in
Fostoria.
Other survivors include: three
sons, Frank W. Hampshire of Chesnee, S.C., Charles J. and Matthew
C. Hampshire, both of Fostoria; a daughter, Maryalice Chancey
of Fostoria; and 10 grandchildren.
A son, Robert C. Hampshire; a brother,
Robert G. Hampshire; and two sisters, Rachel Boster and Madelyn
Hampshire, are deceased.
Mr. Hampshire, a member of Union
Local 811, retired in 1985 from the City of Fostoria Cemetery
and Parks Department, where he had been employed for more than
45 years.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday
in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev.
Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery,
Fostoria.
Visitation at the funeral home
will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.

Shelby Caitlyn Haning was stillborn
Dec. 17, 1998, at Toledo Hospital. Her parents are Charles and
Amy (Robinson) Haning of TR 63, Fostoria, who survive.
Also surviving are: maternal grandfather,
Delbert Robinson of Pemberville; paternal grandparents Charles
and Bessie Haning of Fostoria; and maternal great-grandmother,
Lizzie Robinson of Fostoria.
Graveside services will be at 1:30
p.m. Monday at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria.

Luetta B. ''Grandma'' Hanley, 94,
of Fostoria, died at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 1998, in St.
Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
Born Aug. 9, 1903, in Wren, to
John and Rosie (Wertz) Rolston, she married Bert Hanley in Findlay.
He is deceased.
Survivors include: three sons,
Robert L., Claire L. and Frederick E. Hanley, all of Fostoria;
eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were: three
sons, Kenneth E., Bernard R. and Gene C. Hanley; two brothers,
Bert and Raymond Rolston; and a sister, Ireta Schmehl.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hanley was a
member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fostoria.
She also was a 50-year member of
Women of the Moose 154 and the Fostoria Emergency Corp., where
she had been a member for more than 30 years.
Services in the Mann-Hare Funeral
Home, Fostoria Chapel, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the
Rev. R. Edson Reed officiating. Interment will be in Fountain
Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation at the funeral home
is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. Women of the Moose memorial services
will be at 7:30. Visitation also will be noon until time of
the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held from 3-5
and 7-9 p.m. today at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Mrs. Harden died at 11:44 p.m.
Friday, April 3, 1998 at Fostoria Community Hospital.
She was born Oct. 4, 1912 in Van
Buren to David W. and Edna M. (Rader) Franks. She married Lester
E. Harden on Aug. 23, 1930 in Bowling Green, and he died June
3, 1979.
Surviving are three sons, James,
Watson "Bud" and Ronald, all of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Edmond
(Carolyn) Zickefoose, Fostoria; 16 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren;
several foster grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; eight
step-great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother,
DorrRobert "Bob" Franks, McComb; and a sister, Margaret Kuhbander,
McComb.
She also was preceded in death
by three brothers, Harry, Garland and Paul Franks; and two sisters,
Eleanor and Lulabelle Franks.
Mrs. Harden was a seamstress and
homemaker. She also had worked at Harden's Cleaners, Edward
Dry Cleaners and Porters Dry Cleaners, all of Fostoria.
She was a member of First Church
of the Nazarene.

Kenneth A. Harris, 65, of 4997
Eagleville Road, Fostoria, died at 1:45 a.m. Friday, July 24,
1998 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.
He was born June 24, 1933 in Fostoria
to Roy B. and Mildred F. (Fry) Harris. He married Mary E. Baier
on Feb. 26, 1950 in Fostoria, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John
A. of Alpharetta, Ga.; James A. of Fortuna, Calif.; two daughters,
Mrs. Larry (Janet A.) Lehnert, Inverness, Fla.; Jennifer A.
Harris, Pasadena, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two brothers,
Franklin of Bloomdale; Donald G. of Laramie, Wyo.
Mr. Harris was a quality assurance
manager for Kelsey-Hayes Corp. of Fremont for 12 years, retiring
in 1995. He worked for Atlas Crankshaft as an quality control
engineer for 10 years. He was an Army veteran, serving as a
first lieutenant in the Chemical Corps.
He was a member of Mount Zion United
Brethren Church, Wayne. He was a 1951 graduate of Bloomdale
High School and a 1956 graduate of the University of Toledo,
with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering.
He was a member of Commercial Club,
Bloomdale; Briar Hill Golf Club, North Baltimore; and Promise
Keepers. He was membership secretary of the Bloomdale High School
Alumni Association.
Funeral services will be held at
10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Mt. Zion United Brethren Church,
Wayne, the Rev. Lee H. Hiney officiating. Burial will be in
Perry Center Cemetery, Fostoria, with military rites conducted
by the United Veterans of Fostoria.
Visitation will be held from 3-5
and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria,
and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Ruby M. Harris, 75, died at 3:50
p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1998, at her residence at 729 Cherry
St., Fostoria.
She was born in Turin, Ga., Dec.
25, 1922, to Ralph Carmichael and Olga (North) Carmichel-Bibbs.
Her mother survives in Fostoria. Her husband, Clarence Harris,
whom she married Nov. 8, 1976, in Fostoria, is deceased.
Other survivors include: a daughter,
Darlene Dessausure of Fostoria; two sisters, Rosetta Williams
of Warren and Evelyn Browning of Fostoria; four grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were
her father and three sisters, Julia Carmichael, Velma Smith
and Donna J. Fairley.
Mrs. Harris retired in 1989 as
a production checker from Allied Automotive in Fostoria, where
she had been employed for 32 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist
Church, Fostoria, where she served on its Mother's Board and
also as a trustee.
Services in the First Baptist Church
will be 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. T.A. Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens near Arcadia.
Visitation at the Mann-Hare Funeral
Home, Fostoria Chapel, will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. The
body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service
on Friday.

Max S. Harter, 80, of 204 Vickie
Lane, Fostoria, died at 12:28 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998
at Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born March 31, 1918 in Grabill,
Ind., to Herbert and Vera (Reicheldferfer) Harter. He married
Lillian E. Kreager on April 22, 1938 in Alexandria, Ky., and
she suvives.
Also surviving are a son, Lynn
of Urbana; six daughters, Mrs. John (Virginia) Laube, Mrs. James
(Carol) Sexton, Mitzi Harter, all of Fostoria; Mrs. Dale (Lois)
Molargik, Huber Heights; Mrs. John (Janice) Minich, Bloomdale;
Cheryl Harter, Warner-Robins, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
three step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Fayne Harter,
Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a daughter,
Marcile Wonderly; four grandsons; and a brother, Leslie.
Mr. Harter retired in 1980 after
381/2 years at General Electric, Fort Wayne, Ind. He was also
a farmer in Allen County, Indiana.
He was a member of the G.E. Quarter
Century Club and graduated from Harlan High School in Indiana
in 1937.
Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, the Rev.
Clarence Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery,
Allen County, Indiana.

Willard R. "Bill" Hay Sr., 74,
of 660 Westhaven Drive, Fostoria, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday,
April 6, 1998, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
He was born Dec. 22, 1923 in Findlay
to Willard P. and Freda (Ball) Hay. He married Hilda T. Haas
on Dec. 21, 1944 in Napoleon, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Ralph (Teri L.) Wise, Fostoria; a son, Willard R. Jr. of
Fostoria; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother,
Frederick of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a sister, Betty Lou Forbes,
Fostoria.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Mr. Hay was a retired electrician
at Ex-Cell-O, Fostoria.
He was a 1942 graduate of Fostoria
High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of St. Wendelin
Catholic Church, Fostoria; and IBEW Local 8, Toledo. He was
named first outstanding layman at the YMCA, Fostoria, in 1955.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated
at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria,
where the rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial
will be in Memory Gardens, near Arcadia, where military graveside
rites will be conducted by the Fostoria American Legion, Veterans
of Foreign Wars and AMVETS.
Visitation will be held from 3-5
and 7-9 p.m. today, and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday
at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria. The rosary will be recited
at 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Dwight M. Hazeltine, 90, of 725
Columbus Ave., Fostoria, died in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home,
Fostoria, at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 1998.
He was born in Beloit, Wis., Oct.
12, 1907, the son of Silas and Iva (Stebbins) Hazeltine. His
wife, Ruth N. (Nelson) Hazeltine, whom he married Feb. 22, 1930,
in Chicago, Ill, died March 27, 1990.
Surviving are a son, Nelson B.
Hazeltine of Chapin, S.C.; two granddaughters, Kara Nurrenbrock
and Karis Mott; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert
B. Hazeltine of Beloit.
Also preceding him in death were
a son, Dwight M. Hazeltine Jr.; a brother, Claron S. Hazeltine;
and two sisters, Dorothy Tipton and Violet Westby.
Mr. Hazeltine, the former owner
of Buckeye Auto Parts in Fostoria for 39 years, retired in 1980.
He was a member of Wesley United
Methodist Church, Fostoria; Fostoria Exchangeclub, Rotary Club,
Fostoria Chamber of Commerce, where he had served as past president
and past finance chairman of the Fostoria YMCA.
He served on the committee to help
start Fostoria United Way and also was a member of Free and
Accepted Masons 288, Fostoria, Fostoria Shrine Club and the
Fostoria Country Club.
Mr. Hazeltine served as chairman
of the first Beautification Committee of Fostoria and as former
director, president and chairman of the board of the Ohio Savings
and Loan.
The Rev. Branson J. Hawkes will
officiate at the 11 a.m. Saturday service in the Mann-Hare Funeral
Home, Fostoria Chapel. Interment will be in Fountain Cemetery,
Fostoria.

Retired John B. Rogers seamstress
Maudine E. Heiserman, 80, of Liberty
Street, Fostoria, died in the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria,
at 5:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998.
She was born in Fostoria, June
13, 1918, to Clarence E. and Lelah (Hartman) Needles. On Sept.
6, 1937, in Fostoria, she married Leland H. Heiserman. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son,
David L. Heiserman of Columbus; a daughter, Gretchen K. Heiserman
of Bellevue; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, Eugene Needles, preceded
her in death.
Mrs. Heiserman, a 1936 graduate
of Fostoria High School, retired in 1976 as a seamstress from
John B. Rogers Productions, where she had been employed for
10 years.
She was a member of High Street
United Methodist Church, Fostoria.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday
in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev.
Jeffrey L. Waite officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran

to Jay R. and Otha (Wiseman) Hengsteler. He married Ruth J.
Boyd on March 23, 1929 in Wayne, and she died Oct. 9, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley
A. True, Fostoria; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren;
and two brothers, Rollin of Findlay; Robert of Arcadia.
He also was preceded in death by
a sister, Hazel Dalton.
Mr. Hengsteler retired after working
30 years at Standard Oil Co. He also worked at Seneca Lumber,
Fostoria.
He was a member of Wesley United
Methodist Church in Fostoria, the Seneca County Cancer Society
and the Barbershoppers. He was a longtime member of the Fostoria
Exchange Club.
He graduated from Risingsun High
School.

He was born Dec. 8, 1900 in Texas
to Bernardino and Sabino (Rodriguez) Hernandez. He married Simona
Martinez on Oct. 14, 1922 in Texas, and she died Feb. 14, 1996.
Surviving are two sons, Encarnacion
Jr. and Jose, both of Fostoria; eight daughters, Mrs. Hilario
(Maria) Capetillo, Mrs. Rafael (Angelina) Hernandez and Lupe
Sanchez, all of Fostoria; Mrs. Moses (Juanita) Avila and Mrs.
Marcos (Ramona) Sanchez, both of Pemberville; Anita Navarro,
Fremont; Mrs. Antonio (Armandina) Rodriguez, Chicago, Ill.;
Mrs. Jack (Susie) Garn, New Riegel; 60 grandchildren; 126 great-grandchildren;
19 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Chana Delgado, Texas.
He also was preceded in death by
a son, Ysidro; a great-grandson; eight sisters and a brother.
Mr. Hernandez was a retired laborer
from the Genoa Lime Plant.
He was a member of St. Wendelin

15, 1998.
Born Sept. 2, 1933, in Fostoria,
to the late Jess and Florence (Brooker) Haynes, she married
Cecil E. Herod Sr. Oct. 5, 1954, in Old Fort. He preceded her
in death Feb. 7, 1995.
Surviving are five sons, Toby A.
Keeney Sr. of Cleveland, Cecil Herod Jr. of Findlay, Timothy
Herod of Spring Hill, Fla. and Kenneth Sr. and Dennis Herod,
both of Fostoria; a daughter, Gail Fought of Arcadia; two sisters,
Anna Burch of Fostoria and Donna Kenney of Alvada; 17 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were
two brothers, LeRoy and Donald Haynes; and four sisters, Blanche
and Arlene Haynes, Betty McNutt and Starling Harris.
A homemaker, Mrs. Herod had attended
Fostoria High School and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal
Church of God, Fostoria.

of Arlen A. Hickle, 45, of Dalton, Ga., who died Sunday, Aug.
23, 1998, in Murray County, Ga.
He was born July 9, 1953 in Fremont
to Leroy and Bonnie (Ottney) Hickle. His father survives.
Survivors also include: two sons,
Ryan and Shawn, both of Fremont; five brothers, Leroy III, Jeff,
Scott and Bruce Hickle, all of Fostoria and Doyle Hickle of
Dalton; four sisters, Linda Fox, Debbie Gilliam, Connie Twiss
and Lori Hickle, all of Fostoria; and nieces and nephews.
His mother and a brother, Todd
Hickle, are deceased.
Mr. Hickle was a U.S. Army veteran.

She was born Aug. 16, 1998, in
Fostoria.
Survivors include her mother; maternal
grandparents, Gene Hoffbauer, Charlotte Wickiser, Shirley Moore
and Daniel Bennett, all of Fostoria; and great-grandparents,
Mary Lou Hoffbauer of Fostoria and Mr. and Mrs. James Bennett
I of Carey.

She was born at the family home
at 65 Coe St., May 27, 1903, to William V. and Jessie F. (Feightner)
Boroff. She married Calvin Hollar, Aug. 7, 1921, in Sycamore.
He preceded her in death Aug. 31, 1963.

the Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon.
She was born in Bowling Green,
June 17, 1932, to the late Chester and Inez (Wickerd) Atha.
On Sept. 2, 1951, in Fostoria, she married Delbert L. Horner.
He died Jan. 17, 1990.

School graduate, retired in 1985 from the Gray Printing Co,

She attended Fostoria Baptist Church
and was a member of its Mary-Martha Ladies Missionaryl Fellowship,
the Fostoria VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the
Eagles, Moose and American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday
in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev.
David Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery,
Fostoria.

Alexander M. ''Alex'' Howard, 80,
of 803 S. Main St., Fostoria, died at 9:05 p.m. Saturday, Aug.
22, 1998, in Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born in Fostoria, Oct. 23,
1917, to Fred R. and Fayette (Ferwalt) Howard. On Nov. 10, 1941,
in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, he married Betty
F. Wagner. She survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Gary R. Howard of Silver Lake, Ohio, and Frederick R. Howard
of Fostoria; four daughters, Lynda K. Abell, Gail M. Haaser,
Arlene Dee Steve and Dawn A. Morgart, all of Fostoria; 14 grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Howard of Fremont;
and four sisters, Mary Kintz and Madonna Roberts, both of Fostoria,
Patricia Wolfarth of Tucson, Ariz., and Margaret Bruce of Columbus.
A sister, Beatrice Ruehle, is deceased.
Mr. Howard, a World War II U.S.
Army veteran, retired in 1980 as manager from the Kroger Store
in Fostoria, where he had worked for 44 years.
He was a member of St. Wendelin
Catholic Church, Fostoria.
A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where the Rosary
will be recited at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery,
where military graveside services will be conducted by the Fostoria
AMVETS, VFW and American Legion.
Visitation at the Hoening Funeral

Howard, 76, of East Lyme, Conn., will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday
at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Jeffrey Waite

a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Howard died Monday, July 6,
1998 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London, Conn.
She was born Jan. 3, 1922 in Jellico,
Tenn. to Ida Hall. She married Robert Deer, who died in November
1983. She then married Berlin Howard, who survives in East Lyme,
Conn.
Also surviving are a son, John
Deer, Niantic, Conn.; two daughters, Roberta Deer, League City,
Texas; Mary Ann Callaghan, Hilliard; a sister, Dorothy Rader,
Fostoria; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death
by a sister, June Hall.
Mrs. Howard was a licensed practical
nurse at Fostoria Community Hospital.

John Joseph Howbert, 57, of 3800
Galt Ocean Drive, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., died at 8:33 a.m. Friday,
Nov. 6, 1998, in Ft. Lauderdale.
He was born in Findlay Dec. 14,
1940, to the late Harry and Agnes (Kelly) Howbert. His former
wife, Marguerite Frisch, survives.
Survivors also include: a daughter,
Carrie Elizabeth Stevens of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; a son, Joseph
Robert Howbert of Cottonwood, Calif.; a brother, DanielHowbert
of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Cech
of Chino Hills, Calif.
A retired DeLorean Motor Co. employee,
Mr. Howbert graduated in 1958 from St. Wendelin High School
and in 1962 from Xavier University, Cincinnati.
He was a former member of St. Wendelin
Catholic Church, Fostoria, and the University Club, Jacksonville,
Fla.

Helen L. Hoyer, 61, of South Union
Street, Fostoria, died in Fostoria Community Hospital at 3:08
p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998.
She was born June 25, 1937, in
Perrysburg, to the late Lawrence E. and Sophia L. (Zieglar)
Wagner. On Nov. 9, 1958, in Fostoria, she married Raymond A.
Hoyer. They were divorced. He died Dec. 25, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Scott
Hoyer of Fostoria and Jeffery Hoyer of West Millgrove; two daughters,
Mrs. David (Holly) Reinbolt and Mrs. Douglas (Wendy) Pahl, both
of Fostoria; a brother, Richard Rowland of Northwood; a sister,
Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Cline Sr. of West Millgrove; and 12 grandchildren.
Mrs. Hoyer, a 1955 graduate of
Fostoria High School, retired in 1993 from the Atlas Crankshaft
Corp., after 23 years of employment.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran
Church, Fostoria.

Carmel E. Huth, 86, died at 1:30
p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998, in the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria,
where she resided.
She was born in Fostoria, Aug.
9, 1912, to Vincent A. and Sarah A. (Werner) Huth.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs.
Harold (Jeanette) Frederick of Lorain and Mrs. Robert (Ethel)
Holderman of Fostoria.
Two brothers, Richard V. and Robert
G. Huth; and a sister, Madeline A. Huth, are deceased.
Miss Huth retired in 1978, as an
employee, from the Commercial Bank in Fostoria, after 50 years
of employment.

graduate, she was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church,
Fostoria and the Fostoria Womens Club and a former member of
the Fostoria BPW and Daughters of Isabella.

Mrs. Jacobs died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday,

She was born July 15, 1916 in Carey,
to Charles and Louisa (Earle) Ritter. She married Frederick
C. Jacobs on Dec. 8, 1945, in Bowling Green, and he preceded
her in death.

of Naperville, Ill.; John J. of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Charles
"Billie" Dillery, Fostoria; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;

1979.

Edward and Rebecca Galan Sr. of Fostoria; her father and stepmother,
Gary L. and Vickie James Sr. of Swanton; maternal grandmother,
Mrs. Troy (Nettie) Bass-Pickett of Temperance, Mich.; paternal
grandmother, Mrs. James (Delores) Grycza of Delta; a brother,
Gary L. James Jr. of Fostoria; a half-brother, Jeremy B. James
of Swanton; three step-brothers, Eddie, Thomas and David Galan,
all of Fostoria; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.
Her maternal grandfather, Onnie

Miss James, a cashier at Foodtown

Anna Louise Johnson, 78, formerly

She was born in Ruston, La., Jan.
22, 1920, to Alfred and Minnie (Lewis) Jones.

Also preceding her in death were
a son, John Johnson; a daughter, Kathy Johnson; three brothers,

124 Seneca Ave., Fostoria, died at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, Oct.

Fostoria, where she resided.
She was born in Vanlue, Sept. 29,
1917, to Charley and Iva (Swick) Loudenslager.
Survivors include: two brothers,
Ralph O. Loudenslager of Columbus and John W. Loudenslager of
Vanlue.
A brother, Charles Loudenslager;
and a sister, Catherine Ewing, are deceased.
Mrs. Jolliff, a graduate of Vanlue
High School, had been employed as an assembler at the Autolite
(now Allied Signal), Fostoria, where she had worked for 25 years,
retiring in 1970.
A lifetime member of Women of the
Moose, she was a former member of Loyal Order of the Moose 1567,
Fostoria.
The Rev. Branson J. Hawkes will
conduct the 10:30 a.m. Tuesday service in the Mann-Hare Funeral
Home, Fostoria Chapel. Burial will be in Hickory Grove, Vanlue.

Phillip E. Jordan, 40, of Rising
Sun, died in Fostoria Community Hospital at 10:30 p.m. Friday,
Aug. 28, 1998.
He was born in Carter County, Ky.,
April 21, 1958, to the late James and Pearlie (Dean) Jordan.
On June 3, 1978, in Hatton, he married Laura B. St. Clair and
she survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter,
Crystal M. Jordan of Fostoria; six sisters, Lilamae Fultz and
Delores Trent, both of Kentucky, Joan Mallory of Custar, Bonnie
Barnette of Fostoria, Christine Stamper of Willard and Paula
Ray of Bradner; four brothers, William Jordan of Ashland, Ralph
and Reford Jordan, both of Willard and Joseph Jordan of Bradner;
and a grandchild.
An infant sister, Joyce Jordan,
is deceased.
Mr. Jordan was employed at Macritchie
Materials Stone Quarry in West Millgrove.
